thought it was quite funny although slightly dated -family friendly,

more asians onscreen is a must for the BBC

probably one of the most inoffensive sitcoms not sure why people complained

but still we need writers like the people who wrote the i.t crowd, peep show, blackadder etc

I thought it was hilarious myself. More of a laugh at rigidly patriarchal and conservative Sikh families than any Sikh values themselves.

I watched two episodes of this. Some of it was genuinely funny because it's true eg cultural aspects shown which apply to Indo-Pak populations. Some of it was ridiculous and OTT.

Not something I'm going to spend my time watching.

GGM used to be funny but sometimes I was offended by some bits eg "Hard Kaur".

I think we all have our own boundaries on what we accept/don't accept.

Citizen Khan, a play on a famous film called Citizen Kane, is IMO quite funny, but the character that gets me most is the prospective son-in-law. He is a riot!!!

No-one can do it as good as GGM.
