Its been going around that the infamous 'Param Singh' of projectnaad and City Sikhs (Both organisations notoroious for being totally against the most basic principles of sikhi, eg. projectnaad used to have a link to RSS website, city sikhs has outings to bars), will be appearing on the low-brow dating show, 'Take Me Out' on ITV, this news has been going around the sangat and was also on the Singhrow facebook page earlier today, which mysteriously has now been deactivated! If you look at the city sikhs facebook page, you can see he is INVOLVED IN PARCHAR to NON-SIKHS!

This guy is as far as I am aware amritdhari, and takes an active role in 'parchaar'. His old projectnaad site used to be full of lots of anti-sikh parchar, such as promotion of bhangra dancing as something spiritual, infact he has been photographed wearing a chola while dancing on a dance floor, his site had a link to the RSS website as 'alternative views of sikhi', he promotes homosexuality. He flaunts these proven accusations on his now defunct website with a mocking joke towards gursikhs.

I personally feel this next step is very bad, I mean going on a dating show, wearing a dastar and presenting yourself as a parcharak?? What do you all think about this?

HE HAS ADMITTED IT ON HIS FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/param.sikhi

THIS IS WHAT HE HAS WRITTEN:

"Oh wow! The girls from the new series of Take Me Out are in the latest copy of the OK! Magazine UK ! How on earth did I manage to get an opportunity to win a date with one of these Gorgeous 30 Ladies??!! Lucky Me! I'll be on ITV1 this Saturday 5th Jan at 8.45pm"

This besharam has even opened a twitter account dedicated to it, looks like he is out for cheap fame https://twitter.com/Param_TakeMeOut

here are some pictures of projectnaad members, including this param singh

They may be bad, but at the end of the day, telling jokes is just that, telling jokes. This guy is a freak with the appearance of a Sikh, more importantly, he is active in 'parchar'.

True. I'm just sick of seeing Sikhs ham it up when in front of a camera in the UK to 'fit in'. I have no doubt this is what he will do. Mainstream reality TV watching British people dont want to see confident self-respecting men from Sikh backgrounds on TV, it would too much of a shock to their system. That's why they get clowns like this.

That Harderp Kohli guy? Didn't he get done for sexual harrasment?

Yeah him. Mr 'PoseNakedWithASaucepan'. And people wonder why I am so disillusioned with Sikh role models and public figures in the UK.
