If you're adopting a child then that should be fine. If you are having a relationship with someone and then producing a child, that is not accepted in Gurmat.

The Guru's teachings are to restrict sexual promsicuity simply because lust is a social evil that weakens the mind body and soul. A weak being will result in a weak society. Guru Ji has created a religion of intellectual and spritual masters who are warriors and hard working.

Guru Gobind Singh Ji took adultery and sex before marriage so seriously that it is one of the 4 cardinal sins (bajjar kurehat) The acceptable use of sex is in a proper marriage scenario where you take vows to marriage with a single partner. In Kaljug this time period such a person will get the merit of a celibate (Eka naree jattee hoe - Bhai Gurdas)

However if you love a person and promise to live with them for the rest of your life but you have had sex and maybe offspring are born then you must committ to this promise. If you are Amritdhari and you committ any sin such as sex before marriage or adultery then you must go before the Panj Piareh for punishment.

If you are thinking of becoming Amritdhari then your previous sins will be washed away so long as you follow the Khalsa Code Of Conduct for the rest of your life having taken Amrit.

In Sanatan Granths (Hindusim) such as the shastras it is written that i somebody has many sexual partners, such a person will have to suffer very hot humid temperatures when he departs from the mortal world, wheras as someone who is celibate or remains faithfuil to a single married lawful partner (Gristh Jeevan) will receive the cover of a umbrella

Its a biggest mistake of one's life - coz for boys its a Fun but for girls its burden

Fun of one night has a high probability to make ur life fall in darkness......

Never take these steps in life..... not coz our religion dont allow but coz being a girl ur life wont allow u to survive....

Thanks for the replys i was just curious as a freind gave birth to a baby girl and she kept it and the guy doesnt want nothing to do with it they are both sikh and the guys is in his 30s n the girl is 20 Feel really sad for her ps gurpreet bhenji thats soo true
