is there any violation of maryada if body is not cremated and the remains are not dropped in flowing water?

I don't know, but i was taught that you don't need the body after. All it is is an empty vessel. There's nothing special about it. The things Sikhi promotes is seva and helping others. What bigger seva is there than donating your body to a good cause or giving organs to someone in need?

there is a shortage of asian/indian donors so transplant registers for asian patients are very long.
