Surrey Hindu Temple Windows Smashed, Sikh Marking Left

Two men armed with baseball bats smashed three windows at the front entrance of a Hindu temple in Surrey, B.C., overnight.

Police said the incident was recorded by surveillance cameras at the Hindu Mandir temple, on 140th Street near 83 Avenue, near Bear Creek Park in Surrey.

Officers said the footage shows the two men walking in, smashing the windows, then running off the property.

A baseball bat found near one of the broken windows Sunday morning had Sikh markings on it, said an RCMP officer at the scene.

Hopefully this catch who did this and if they are sikhs.. sikhs community in BC should condemn these fascist racist goons...there is no place for this kind of hate crime fascist bigotry in the panth.!!

Panth needs to work to find whoever these criminals are and bring them to justice regardless if they're Sikh or not.

I'm pretty sure they aren't Sikhs though. Probably some Hindus/indian govnt sympathizers who did it.

The way to deal with it is for the BC Sikh Panth to stand guard tonight at all non-Sikh religious places like Mandirs, Mosques, Churches, Synagogues to show others what Sikhi is really about (rather than what our enemies want to show it as).

Here is a report on the attack at the mandir. The baseball has Brar and a Khanda on it. Maybe the attack is a way for the Indians to bring pressure on the council to bring down the billboard.

Ok having seen the video they might not be Nazi's but i can't tell there background. But no criminal would be that stupid as to leave their personalised baseball on the scene. How many mark a bat with the Khanda on it or put there surname on it. The windows broken might be at the Hindu temple but this is a 100% anti-Sikh attack.

yes and the Indian Overseas Congress have been trying to get media coverage calling Sikh organisations Khalistani etc. The Indians are very worried that the Sikh Genocide awareness is crossing over into the non Sikh communities.
