THATS THE REASON - WE DON'T HAVE ANY JUSTICE FOR 1984 DUO-GENOCIDES TILL DATE - HENCE PROVED.

The topic posted by OP was - "Sikhs not allowed to visit Gurudwara Gyan Godhri Sahib".

However, the subject on which we seem to be fighting is

- Mr. Daduwal marriage.

- Mr. Daduwal alliance with Sarna.

- Mr. Daduwal alliance with Radha Swami etc. etc.

Can we leave our internal differences and discuss how to get Gurudwara Gyan Godhri back to the Khalsa Panth?

well said. We need to get out of the crab mentality. If a Sikh goes to Gurdwara Gyan Godhri Sahib for Sikh rights, why are we pulling him down? I don't agree with Dhumma joining Badal either, but when Baba Dhumma built the bluestar memorial, he deserves support and backing from Sikhs for that task. It would have been terribly unwise if instead of supporting him we get fixated on one or two points and attack him at a time when the entire Panth should be one united force. But thank God we were united behind Dhumaa for that. Similarly if a Sikh is taking up a Panthic cause like trying to get Sikh rights over Gurdwara Gyan Godhri Sahib we should not be attacking him at that time.

Why can't we go to gyan godri sahib?

In the article posting here it says:

"It is notable that Gurdwara Gyan Godri was a historic Sikh shrine at Haridwara that marked the memory of Guru Nanak Sahib Jis visit to the place and signified the rejection of superstitious rituals by Guru Sahib. The Gurdwara Sahib was destroyed during November 1984 genocidal violence against the Sikhs.

It is notable that on November 28, 2012, the Uttarakhand government had arrested around 700 Sikhs when they had tried to celebrate Gurpurb at Haridwar, citing law and order situation. It may be recalled that in 2012 the Haridwar administration had banned entry of Sikhs in wake of Fateh Yatra."

If both parties are content and both families are content what does it have to do with anyone else?

She could be 17 years older and what difference would it make?

This kind of lame thinking makes people ask how could some of the Guru's have had more than one wife?

Focus on the things that matter, not the things that are irrelevant.

It is India and not west. Moral traditions are important.

Daduwal came in the picture because he was staging a drama to gain attention. Baba dhumma never associated with anti sikh forces

that are spreading venom against sikh scriptures.

Please watch what this daduwal do in aftermath of this event.he will do nothing and then jump over to another issue without resolving

any.Had he such a sikh spirit he should ahve attained shaheedi there.

Gyan Godri Gurdwara issue gains momentum

Sikhs to stage protest in Dehradun to press govt to allot land for building gurdwara near Har-ki-Pauri

Sandeep Rawat

Tribune News Service

Haridwar, February 26

The Gyan Godri Gurdwara issue seems to be gaining momentum once again with several Sikh organisations quite firm on constructing the gurdwara in Haridwar near Har-ki-Pauri only. A special Minority Commission team had visited the site a few months back and observed that the proposed gurdwara be put up near Har-ki-Pauri. The Sikh organisations had claimed that it was a gurdwara that Guru Nanak Dev had visited during his stay in Haridwar.

The Sarva Pradesh Gurdwara Mahaprabandhak Committee has decided to bring other Sikh organisations under one banner giving a one-month ultimatum to Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank to take a decisive stance on the issue.

Apprising The Tribune about the move, committee national president Jagjit Singh Jhindae said if in one month’s time the state government didn’t take a decision on the Gyan Godri Gurdwara issue as per the wishes of the Sikh community, they would stage a massive protest in the state capital Dehradun.

“Keeping the religious-historic sentiments of the Sikhs, the state government should grant land as well as permission to build a gurdwara near Har-ki-Pauri where once the Gyan Godri shrine existed,” said Jagjeet Singh.

Inderjeet Singh Chug, national chief of the Shiromani Gurdwara Prachar Committee, said a request letter had also been sent to the Prime Minister, and at the state level efforts were on to make a favourable environment towards constructing the gurdwara at the very place near Har-ki-Pauri where it existed a few centuries back.

Citing religious cause, Inderjeet said this was not only a matter concerned with the Sikh community, but also related with the society as Guru Nanak Dev was revered by people from across religious sects.

Inderjeet related it with the Lord Rama temple at Ayodhya saying that as the significance of constructing the temple at Ramjanmabhoomi site was imperative, so was the construction of the gurdwara of Gyan Godri at the said site at Har-ki-Pauri.

Notably as per the Sikh frontal organisations, till the mid-’70s Gyan Godri Gurdwara used to exist, but was shifted near Har-ki-Pauri in the memory of Guru Nanak Dev who visited Har-ki-Pauri in 1504-05 and observed “sadhna” and had an interaction with local teerth purohits too. But in the ’70s it was demolished in the name of renovation and later handed to Bharat Scouts and Guides, which still houses their office at the same place. Since then Sikh organisations have been demanding allocation of the same place to them so that they can construct a gurdwara.

It is in panthic interest that we recognize black sheeps among us and should not be misled by their dramatic acts.

What panthic love this man has when he is a pawn in hands of Sarna who at best acted and is still acting anti sikh.
