Here is a complete Video report by Sangat TV on how Bhai Gurbaksh Singh's life was saved. It is clear from the report that : 1) Bhai Sahib's condition had deteriorated and he was requiring oxygen mask 2) Bhai sahib didnot want to go to hospital BUT sangat was divided and Jujhar Singh and a lot of sangat wanted to take him to hospital as advised by medical doctors 3) Police was there in full force and would have forcefully taken Bhai Sahib to hospital if the issue was not resolved in an amicable way. 4) Bhai Sahib life needs to be saved as his death will NOT serve any purpose. 5) People need to understand what Jujhar Singh said exactly---He said we wanted to bring Bhai Sahib to hospital BUT Bhai Sahib didnot want to come. Ultimately Bhai sahib was brought to hospital by Doctors, police and sangat that wanted to save him. Yes, it was against Bhai Sahib's wish BUT it was important to save his life and he is still not being force fed by mouth and only getting Intravenous fluids etc. .

‪#‎Badal‬ government should explain that if there was no way to release a life term convict before 14 years how Inspector Gurmeet Singh Pinkey was released after serving 8 years in prison while he was sentenced to imprisonment for life?

And how DSP Swaran Dass, who was sentenced to imprisonment for life, was got released after 5 years even when his appeal was laying pending before the High court?

Is there two secret set of laws, one is applied in cases of ‪#‎Sikh‬ political prisoners and other applies to the cases of ‪#‎humanrights‬ abuser cops? And, if there is only one standard of law then why Sikh political prisoners could not be released form prisoners even after serving more than 14, 18 or 20 years in prisons."

Sikh Channel has corrected it's news now and clarified that Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Ji Khalsa did not attend Hospital voluntarily today as earlier reports indicated. Following breathing difficulties his family wanted to take Bhai Gurbaksh Singh to hospital. Bhai Sahib did not agree to this. The Police, medical team and members of Sangat took him to Hospital against his wishes. His health has seriously deteriorated. Further update soon.

Today, a truck of food for langar (free kitchen) was sent by Baba Diwan Singh Kaar Sewa Wale from Bahadargarh (Patiala) to Gurdwara Lakhnaur Sahib but was stopped by Punjab police at the border. The volunteers who were driving the truck were detained. When Sikh Sangat learned about this, they rushed toward the police station and Police had to release the truck and Sewadars. In addition, Police is also hindering Sikh Sangat going from Punjab to Lakhnaur Sahib.

The condition of activist Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa, who was shifted to a hospital here for check-up after he has been on fast for nearly two months, is stable, a senior doctor said today.

Khalsa, who has been on an indefinite fast for the past nearly two months demanding the release of Sikh prisoners, was admitted to Civil hospital here yesterday for a medical check-up after his health condition deteriorated.

Civil Surgeon Dr Venod Gupta today said that Khalsa's ultrasound, X-ray and a few other tests were conducted this morning and most of the tests were found to be normal.

He said that his condition is "stable" and for the time being glucose is being administered to him.

Meanwhile, popular Punjabi singer Harbhajan Singh Mann reached the Civil hospital to meet Gurubaksh Singh and remained with him for about an hour.

Some leaders of the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee also came to meet Singh in the hospital.

Besides, some leaders of various Sikh organisations from different parts of Haryana also reached the hospital to meet him.

Heavy police force has been deployed outside the hospital and nobody is allowed to meet him without prior permission of the authorities.

Meanwhile, one of Gurbaksh's supporters Gurpyar Singh sat on fast in Gurudwara Lakhnaur Sahib today demanding the release of Sikh prisoners.

Notably, Gurbaksh, too, had been fasting at the same venue before he was shifted to hospital yesterday.

According to Khalsa's son, Jujhar Singh, they requested the administration yesterday to shift Khalsa immediately to a hospital "since his condition was not good".

Khalsa has been seeking the release of seven Sikh prisoners including those convicted for the assassination of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh in 1995 and one in the 1993 bomb blast case in New Delhi.

Also Nihang groups, including the Sanatan ones.

Many of these groups have representatives in the West and have members that contribute to this forum. If you are member of any of the groups above (or any others not mentioned) please give an update on what your group is doing to get Sikh prisoners released.

Has anybody heard if any of the Sikh groups have got involved in helping Sikh prisoners?
