How do you know?

And what difference it makes if he is married to a "gori"? Does marrying a "Gori" make you a pedo? use some bleach on the gutter mentality.

Pedophiles come in all ages, religions, all walks of life and no religion exempts criminal. If this guy changed his id which can be tracked from court records. When you commit sins against children and vulnerable you become a monster. To follow a religion, one has to be human first. No Sikh needs to defend themselves against one pedo, how many Christians defended themselves against Pennsylvania priests who molested 1000 kids, none.

What sin did Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) commit by comsummating his marriage with her when she became 9years of age?

The marriage was ordained by Allah (swt) and Aisha (ra) herself chose to marry Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Shut up. We were just trying to piece together his background. There is no need for you to get all defensive.

Typical whitey, any sign of criticism towards their quarter and they get all sensitive.

Yeah, and if we followed this apologist logic, we might even end up like the RC church or Pakistani Muslims in the UK. It's good to try and tackle these things head on and face them.

When you don't they just grow and grow until the stink is apparent for everyone to see.

BTW, we aren't Christians, so expecting us to follow their strategies  is silly.

With all due respect to Bhai Mohan Singh, who is one of the greatest Sikhs of the UK, he has not really refuted the allegations about "Amere" or whoever being a Muslim.

The presenter, Sunny the victim girl, and Bhai Mohan Singh all say that raising the question of what religion the perpetrator was is pointless because it takes the focus off the victims, and it doesn't matter.

But it does matter, because that's what can allow us to prevent future problems. If the perp was a Muslim (of some sort), then it means we need to be wary of Muslims. If he was a Sikh, then we need to put our own house in order.

What Bhai Mohan Singh said doesn't refute the allegations of him being a Muslim. He said that the guy comes from a Sikh family, his dada was a Sikh. Which is not to do with the perp. That just means he comes from a Sikh background, not what he was when he committed the crimes.

Second, he says his wife was an amritdhari Sikh, and children Sikh. As stated above, his wife did not know what he was up to.

Third, he stated that the perp took Amrit. This is so horrendous that this criminal violated and disgraced the Amrit granted by Guru Gobind Singh ji. However (and I don't know this), some people are saying he did this as a cover.

But most importantly, Bhai Mohan Singh grants that the perp's entire schooling, residence, and work was with and among Muslims. And there you have it: this man, from his very childhood, came under heavy Muslim influence. And you know very well that Muslims don't just stop at "Oh, you're a Sikh, cool." No, they wear you down until you recite the Shahada (Muslim declaration of faith).

The fact is that this man's entire circle of friends was with Muslims. The presenter never touched on the question of what the man's thinking must have been, and how it was totally Islamic.

That's the point. And that's why people are calling this criminal a Muslim.

He was as much Sikh as the killers of Massa Rangar, who posed as Muslims to gain access to behead him, were Muslims.

Can we just clarify?  Were his Muslim friends predominantly Pakistani Muslims?

Simple Question.

Do you condemn Prophet Muhammad for being a pedophile?

Given that he had sex with his 9year old wife Aisha as an old man

the apologist still didnt answer which means he was protecting his fellow Muslim (Dhaliwal)

Interesting development in the light of this discussion.

Today the two Huddersfield Gurdwara have released a joint statement condemning the crimes.

https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/news/west-yorkshire-news/huddersfield-sikh-temples-unite-condemn-15344328

Part of the statement reads:

"We believe that one of the ring leaders claims to be Sikh. However Amere Singh Dhaliwal is believed to have become a fully-fledged Sikh after he was charged for the crimes he has committed."

So this is coming from his local community.

so what if he wants to repent, and took amrit or something, at the same time of conviction?

    • Umm, that's totally irrational, bro. There are plenty of prakash-dara Singhs in Punjab (less than we'd like, but still plenty). No one cares that you are sabat soorat. It isn't 1986. You can walk around in chola, kurta-pajama, or jeans. Whatever. If you want the look @dallysingh101 is referring to, just go into a cheap clothing shop (not a Western-style mall) and buy some shirts for 250 rupees or a track suit for 2000 rupees. You'll get the cheap stuff made in some sweatshop in Bombay.
    • The Mind is Jyot Saroop (Waheguru), but the mind is under the influence of five evils… Through Naam Simran( Rememberance), the mind will begin to detach from evil, and get back to its original form ( MANN TU JYOT SAROOP HEH)… Until the mind breaks free from the five evils, one will go through the cycle of paap and punn….which leads to Karma… Naam Simran destroys past karma, and prevents new karma coming into fruition… I did this, I did that… This non realisation of the Jyot Saroop gives rise to paap and Punn, which in turn gives birth to suffering and misery…
    • I agree we're not born with sin like the Christians think. Also I agree we have effects of karma. But Gurbani does state that the body contains both sin and charity (goodness): ਕਾਇਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਦੁਇ ਭਾਈ ॥ Within the body are the two brothers sin and virtue. p126 Actually, we do need to be saved. Gurbani calls this "udhaar" (uplift). Without Satguru, souls are liable to spiritual death: ਜਿਨਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਸੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਵਸਿ ਕਾਲ ॥ p40 Those who have not met Satguru Purakh are unfortunate and liable to death. So, yeah, we do need to be saved, and Guru ji does the saving. The reason Satguru is the one to save is because God has given Satguru the "key" (kunji): ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹਥਿ ਕੁੰਜੀ ਹੋਰਤੁ ਦਰੁ ਖੁਲੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥ In the True Guru's hand is the key. None else can open the door. By perfect good fortune the Guru is met. p124
    • That's unfortunate to hear. Could you give any more information? Who was this "baba"? He just disappeared with people's money? Obviously, you should donate your money to known institutions or poor people that you can verify the need of through friends and family in Punjab.
    • Sangat ji,  I know a family who went Sevewal to do seva sometimes end of 2019. They returned last year in great dismay and heart broken.  To repent for their mistakes they approached panj pyaare. The Panj gave them their punishment / order to how t make it up which, with Kirpa, they fulfilled.  They were listening to a fake Baba who, in the end, took all the "Donations " and fled sometime over a year ago. For nearly 4 years this family (who are great Gursikhs once u get to know them) wasted time and effort for this fake Baba. NOT ONLY this one fam. But many, many did worldwide and they took their fam to do seva, in village Sevewal, city Jaitho in Punjab. In the end many families lost money in thousands being behind this Baba. The family, on return, had to get in touch with all the participants and told them to stop.  I am stating this here to create awareness and we need to learn from whom we follow and believe. It's no easy but if we follow the 3 S (Sangat, Simran and Seva) we will be shown the light. As I am writing this the family in question have been doing the same since 2008 onwards and they fell for this Baba... it is unbelievable and shocking.  This am writing in a nutshell as am at work on my break so not lengthy but it deserves a great length.  Especially the family in question, who shed light on youngsters about Sikhi 20 plus years!!
