I don't like looking at mughal weapons because they were tyrants and used their weapons for wrong reasons. All that innocent blood. 

Iv seen mughal weapons at the v&a and i didn't like them.

It's the other way around. China was heavily influenced by Indian Buddhism, which brought all manner of Indic things to them. I think Japan got these things in that way.

i did read somewhere that shastar vidya had some influence on chinese martial arts but i didnt know if that was true or just hindus making stuff up

Nah. Shaolin monks openly acknowledge their Indian antecedents with Boddhidrama.

i think talwar is a Persian sword though?  i think persian style of weapons had a influence on north indian weapons. but tegha khanda are indian   same with chakars  astbhuj katar
