Instilling strong sikh values in younger sikh children

We need to come up with an idea of building more religious sikh schools in Punjab as a way to teach our children about their history just like how we have these catholic school system in Canada. I did go to a catholic school and although they barely taught anything useful or convincing about Christianity(I mean anyone would be put off the religion by the rudeness of half of the people there) but we can follow a similar model in punjab where sikh parents can send their children to such schools so that they dont get brainwashed by these secular schools which tell them they shouldn't care about their religion and fellow Sikhs. What do you all think.? That is why muslims are more successful because they put it into the minds of their children from a very young age to give importance to their religion.

Why did your parents send you there? 

Is this the type of school that killed and buried indigenous children in the back yard?

My parents barely know anything about these Catholics and their religion or their history of subjugation of indigenous people around the world. They only sent me there because it was the nearest school to my home and it had better reputation than other nearby schools. You know the typical brown parent mentality to send your children to the school with the best reputation and ranking.

Each school has a church next to it where they have mass and other stuff happen. So after each mass ends they give some holy water to students to drink. Only christian students mostly would line up and drink it from the principal but this one time when the mass was over and we were going out back to classrooms through the school field this teacher came up and started walking next to me and asked me if i was catholic or christian or if i drank the holy water lol . I said no Im not christian so i will not drink the water as its not allowed in my religion. Lol he was kinda taken aback because i straight up said firmly no i will not drink the water. Then he asked me what religion i was and i said i was a sikh and then he said "sick"? i was like yeah and then he just kept walking with a confused look on his face lol. I think he was taken aback by my answer because I was in a catholic school and straight up saying no i will not follow your religious rules because alot of these whites assume that most POC's think that whatever white people believe and do is right so they expect us all to believe that their religion christianity is right but when you straight up say to their face with firm belief they get surprised. Kinda weird that there are so many Sikhs in Canada and he still didn't know. And this was in Ontario near Toronto with a large population of Sikhs.  Most of the teachers were kinda weird like their politeness seemed forced instead of being genuine and all. The school has a very bad vibe. So glad I'm out. This was like 4-5 years back and even with a sikh defence minister he didnt know who we are. I think its because we dont have a country of our own? So we dont have much reach?Also we are a pretty new dharam. I only recently found out about the druze people of the middle east who also do not have a country of their own. Not having a country of our own seems to be a big factor as to why we have had limited reach.
