Friday, September 28, 2007 Rain, Rain, Rain Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Once, Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji visited Kohat, in the Northwest Frontier Province, on an invitation from the Sangat there. Upon Sant Ji’s arrival two Sikhs came to the railway station to receive him. From the railway station the Sikhs and Sant Ji took a tonga to go to the city. On the way to the city a few Pathans caught sight of Sant Ji. After studying the glow around his face and looking at his simple attire they assumed that he must be a messenger of Akaal Purakh. The Pathans began to run after the tonga until they managed to get it to stop. When the tonga stopped the Pathans in …

I came across this beautiful article and wanted to share... Hou Tumree Karo Nit Aaaaaaaaaaaaaas Prabh Mohey Kab Gal Laavenhgey || She sat by the side of the road, a beggars cup in her hand outstretched towards him, an undefinable look of hunger in her eye. Her clothes were in tatters. He could see they had been fine once, and of good quality. There were a scattering of objects around her that told of days of finery, gone by, and on closer inspection, sheer neglect. It was as though she no longer cared for such objects, and abandoning them, hungered for something else, that mere objects could never satisfy. It was this look of hunger, that caught his eye, that d…

Once there were two friends, one was a Gurmukh and the other a Manmukh. Their friendship was deep but Gurmukh believed in God while Manmukh did not. Gurmukh would wake up early in the morning, take a bath and recite the holy hymns while Manmukh would still be in bed sound asleep. Once they were going on a journey through he forest. As they were passing through the forest Manmukh found a bag of coal. He was very happy because he could sell it and make some money. As they further walked while talking about how lucky Manmukh was to find the bag of coal, Gurmukh screamed with pain. It appeared that a splinter went in Gurmukh’s leg. While Gurmukh was in pain, Manmukh started…

Pardon for cheesy title. But all the Sikh saints in history, they just did it! Sangat, Simran, Seva. Now, online I read that a Brahmgiani's bachan, "Whoever does 25 Japji Sahibs a day, that person's affairs will be met. Am sure you all can hazard a guess why I titled this post like I did... "Do 1 Japji Sahib with sharda a day..." If you have the time do 25! "But yeah, quality is important-" JUST DO IT! Do 25 then shardha/ concentration will increase. So will speed! 25 is achievable in 2.5 hours. One hour early morning then an hour shaam time. 30 mins spare time. Give it a go, start with 5 day then increase. Two weeks should be between 12 - 15 thas more than…

Nice read ... --------- Vaaheguroo Vaaheguroo Vaaheguroo Vaaheguroo It's a story of Love, of His Love, which He's showing to all of us - to all Singhs and Singhnees, to all His children and even to those who never in their life even heard such word as 'S-I-K-H-I'. And I will tell you this story, because it's my story as well. I was born in Moscow in quite normal Russian family, with Mother and Father and few relatives. The whole thing started for me at the autumn of 1996, I was 16 at that time and just started my Uni. One day I was in the bus on my way to university and I saw someone in the window. That was a tall guy, bearded and TURBANED! And that was first t…
