gur fateh jio! as usual i get some weirdo thought when im driving around........ just a thought wat do u all think about gursikhs (amritdhari sikhs) joining the u.s air force,u.s navy,u.s marine corps or the u.s army? :gg: i mean with the law passed which doesnt allow turbaned singhs to fight at the frontlines ( they can serve but not active duty) so i just wanted to knw how u guys felt about this topic gur fateh ji !

Every January, the SSA organizes a conference to bring together Sikh youth from around the Lower Mainland. It's with great excitement that we're launching a new format this year. Instead of the regular speaker routine, we're experimenting with a workshop format, one that will allow those who attend the conference to personally experience the different aspects of being a Sikh. Instead of treating Gurbani as our Guru and the ONLY source of 100% accuracy, it seems we have become sikhs of old historical granths or we have become sikhs of "sant" babas. We believe everything written in old historical granths as if its gurbani. The uch da peer sakhi states that Dasmesh Pita loosened his hair and dressed up as muslim peer. Its such a false story made up by somone out of ignorance or with bad intentions.

back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
