Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Sadhsangat ji i was wondering if the keertan was recorded from the abyhas Smagam that was held at Khalsa school. It was beautiful. At The Raensabyee there were people recording it and I was wondering are they going to keep the recordings to themselves or are they going to be uploaded on any of the keertan sites?

Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji ki Fateh! I need some help finding specific quotes from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee which explains that Guru Granth Sahib jee is our only Guru. Is this true that the sevadars organising atam raas programs have SOLD the recording rights to alpha punjab? IF SO some of my previous statements would seem to have been verified with an adendum: kirtan programs are now being sold like a business by the atam rass ppl which is wrong and anti gurmat. Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. Gurbani isn't a 1428 page rulebook, like Leviticus or the Vedas: ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਾਪ ਬੀਚਾਰਦੇ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਾਝਹੁ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ The Simritis and Shastras discriminate between charity and sin, but know not the essence of the Real Thing. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
