In the aftermath of the terror bombings on London's transport network last Thursday, which killed over 50 commuters and injured over 700, the email boxes of the BNP web team have witnessed a deluge of correspondence. The murderous attacks carried out by Islamist fundamentalists have generated waves of revulsion, anger, dismay and heightened concern that the attacks could have been prevented, if only the British government had enacted a tougher immigration policy, if only the British government had ordered the closure of all those mosques where the "clerics" within were found to be preaching hate against Christians, the secular and "Unbelievers". A selection of th…

peace all, hope you're all well i just wondered about how exactly Sikhism came about i'm a bit confused about it. What I mean is how exactly did Sikhism come to be? I understand there were Guru's but where did they get their teachings from? Do you believe it was revelations from God or soemthing else? I'm just confused as to where exactly it came from. I understand that it is definately NOT a branch of Hinduism, nor is it a muddle of Hinduism and Islam, so where isit from? If anyone could help with not to complex (!) and easy to understand information I would be grateful. no mention or comparison with other religions if possible please. I want this purly about Si…

The incident happened outside Saint Bedes Girls college in Shimla.A youth congress leader Ajit and Dullo's gunman were also involved. Details are awaited. Shamsher Dullo recently fell in the eyes of Sikhs for meeting Piara Bhaniarawala,a self styled anti Sikh person. Just read something on mrsikhnet blog. A point to note is that Gurmustak Singh has been a camper at the camp in 2004 and also has close links with the camp organisers even inviting some of them to give talks at the 3HO summer solstice camp. He has been advertising the camp on his blog many times and the comments are usually from the organisers or sikhs outside UK who have no idea of the issues with the camp. ^^^^ Gurmustak writes I just finished my doing my banis this morning and went on to check my email as I normally do in the morning and was shocked to hear about what happened last night in England. There have been some people who have been on a mission to discredit…

1) Work related- to become a Sikh to get some work, to keep the beard and hair, and take Amrit for securing a good job. Once the position is attained then go back to the original state, i.e to cut beard and hair. 2) Dekha Dekhi- If someone has taken Amrit, to follow suit without knowing anything about religion and later giving it up. 3) Hersk Sikhi- To become a Sikh for some monetary benefit. When someone who has taken Amrit becomes rich, possess a big house and expensive car, then to follow suit by taking Amrit with the idea of becoming rich and owning a big house and nice car. 4) Sikhi of Sidek- a Sikh of contentment. To become a Sikh having full faith in GuruJi and…

Exactly 402 years ago The Adi Granth Sahib had the first prakash by Baba Buddha Ji with Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj by his side. Today was the first time we were revealed the holiness of the Guru Granth Sahib. Guru Sahib from this day on never slept in his bed but gave it up to the Adi Granth. The reason why we show soo much loyalty and care with the Guru Granth Sahib is because Guru Arjan Dev JI put that much love and effort into the Adi Granth Sahib{and this was before Guru Granth was even bestowed Guruship}. We dont show so much reverance towards Guru Granth because Sikhs do we are the servant of the Guru Granth because Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Shaheed started the system an…
