  4. Unfortunately there's nothing comedic about these threats. They have proven themselves in terrorism and have proven themselves in the heart of Punjab. Let us also remember how they easily outnumber Sikhs in every town and city in Punjab. Let us not forget how ,a few months ago, during the Rajoana protests in Gudaspur, they were able to, in broad daylight, drag Sikhs from buses, cars and bikes and forcibly remove the dastars from their heads before beating them up. Let us not forget how in Gurdaspur and Patiala they were able to, in broad daylight, set fire to Sikh dastars and then dance with joy around the fire. Let us not forget how, in Gurdaspur, the eye witness footage shows them actually guiding the police and instructing the police as to who to shoot. Oh their threats of terror are very real. As you see from the above examples the difference between us is a difference of grades of civilisations. As we Sikhs are in an advanced state of civilisation we do not have it in us to treat other communities with such inhumanity. They, however, whenever in great numbers, inherently become barbarians. It is in their nature. Think of any inhuman act and trust me....they are more than capable of it.

  5. It's time to leave our internal differences and bickering aside- bring all brain cells together to give calculated response...i like the smart idea our brothers have saved the video and re-uploaded the video as eye catching title-**BREAKING NEWS** Hindutva Terrorists Threaten Sikhs With Another 1984 Lets keep capitalizing on it and keeping flooding youtube with these tittle..time to put them on a hot seat in front of world and watch them- make mockery of themselves..!!

  6. Interviewer: Gen. Brar, it looks like your wounds have healed completely. Brar: Huh? What wounds? Interviewer: Ummm, sir you were attacked a few weeks ago..... Brar: Excuse me? Interviewer: Sir when you were in London..... Brar: ohhhh yes, I boxed them, kicked them, punched them... Interviewer: It looks like your wounds have healed completely. Brar: Yes they healed the next day. You see I was asked to wear the dressing only in front of the camera. I lost it last night and so came on air without it. Interviewer: I beg your pardon sir, did you say they healed the next day? Brar: Hello? Interviewer: Gen. Brar, sir can you hear me? Brar: Hello? Interviewer: Yes Gen. Brar, can you hear me sir? Brar: Hello?

  7. India media system is soooo rubbish, how on earth can they say those things on tv, when the whole world knows what happened. We maybe abroad, but we know what happened. They try to twist the truth, yes Kiranjit Kaur gave a gr8 answer, the truth, which others are trying to hide and dramatise into something else.

  9. Take example of a father who has two children, one is loving and kind and obedient to his father the other is offensive, self-centred and ignores his father most of the time. The father loves both his children but he will naturally have more of an affinity towards the child that is affectionate and loving towards him. Same can be said about Waheguru, the majority of people go about their daily lives not even thinking about waheguru for even a second, God still loves them but lets them roam at their will , they will carry on in their path of life and death, those who look up and acknowledge Him will get His blessing. Eke penda jai chall, Satguru kote penda agai hoi late hai – you take one step towards Him and He will take countless steps towards you.

  10. Ekta, no need to mention such things. Nothing wrong was said in the video. Take good from everyone and if there is something wrong, there is a right way to address it where you actually have a goal of solving it. Merely repeating something just for the sake of it is where we make mistakes. Back to the video of the hindus.

  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLiGyiKIN4g&feature=plcp Please do not reply to this video with hate or even acknowledge it. It's merely a video of empty talk with the aim of riling up Sikhs. It's quite evident that they have no basis in what they're saying and thus are doing it just to get a reaction in hopes that Sikhs will act with self inflicting wounds. This will not happen. Just like an elephant keeps walking through a jungle ignoring the taunting of small bandars, a Khalsa walks the path without paying heed to the taunts of giddars. They have their freedom of speech to say what they will, we should not shut them up by force, but instead we should educate ourselves and our families with the proper knowledge needed to empower ourselves to bring the Khalsa Panth forward. This is just my perspective and could be wrong so if anyone has any suggestionss or thoughts, please post them.

  18. . . They are making open threats to Sikhs. About two days ago I saw another similar Youtube video (made by Shiv Sena). If it is possible, Sikhs in Punjab should file a PIL (Public Interest Litigation) or some similar complaint based on these videos to start a criminal case against these people. These are the same type of threats that the Hindus were making in late 1970s and in 1980s before the Operation Blue Star episode. . .

  20. Hippy comment i can agree with, they do lot of hocus pocus stuff but with that being said at the end they are all amritdhari, they do get up at amritvela chant vahiguroo mantar along with other guru ghar mantars. Like what? I am confused. My divine brother who spent 15+ years with taksal and nirmale in punjab and 3-4 years in akj and mix sangat married 3ho gori singhani last year, they came to our house just past weekend and stayed with us. I didn't see any sanatan vad or niddarist in her beleifs, its pretty much aligned with Sikhi taught by sri singh harbhajan singh. She did mention though there are handful of sikhs even at 3ho see sikhi purely through yoga eyes and use sikhi as platform to sell their hocus pocus spirituality gears i.e- mala beads/khanda etc buts that minimal compare to punjabi tribal problems which have super imposed itself on Gurmat.

  22. Not just arrested...but arrested and charged. But 'charged' with what Beginner ? Assassination attempt, as Brar claims ? = No Attempted murder, as the Indians claim ? = No A little teensy weensy bit of assault ? = Yes. If every time I get assaulted (pushed) in undergroud stations I claim the person tried to kill me I would not only be a liar I would and should be arrested for wasting valuable police time. If every time someone squared up to me in anger I claimed it was an assassination attempt I would not only be a liar but I would and should be prosecuted for making a mockery of the law. If every time I get a little paper cut on the chin I claim that someone tried to cut my throat I would not only be a liar but I would probably belong in an institution for the mentally ill. ( If the defence lawyer for the 2 is reading this I hope he /she is positively compiling proof of how his / her clients could not hope to receive a fair trial on the assault charge given the negative and blatantly false statements made by not only the Indian media but also institutions such as the BBC, the Police themselves in statements given to the Indian media, and British politicians such as Trade Secretaries and British Ambassadors to India. Let us also remember how the Indian govt sources state publicly that the British official sources (such as the British Police) tell them that they are only going for the assault charge because there's not enough evidence for the murder charge. I truly have full belief that the 2 charged cannot possibly be found guilty given the legal travesties committed.

  23. a few tips i used/use to continuously build up on amrithvela. 1) set yourself a bed time; no matter what your going to aim to be in bed for that time. 2) aim at setting yourself a 20-60minute power nap after amrithvela. itll help you and you wont feel so tired in the long run. 3) when your alarm goes off think to yourself 'i got to get up to talk to vaheguru je now or else ill be trouble (found this works miracles for me especially now as its getting towards winter as it tricks my mind lol) 4) make the aim of your day your amrithvela meaning everything you do that day has your amrithvela for the next day as the aim. in other words youll do everything on a time scale to make sure your in bed by x time and up for x time. as this will slowly become a routine and youll feel better and more easily be able to get up for amrithvela. 5) if your parents wake up early then aim to be in the shower before them; that way you leave yourself no choice but to wake up otherwise youll be 'late' for that very important 'talk with vaheguru jee'. hope those tips help

  27. I find it shocking that this is what we have to do ..... Shouldn't the Jathedars be telling us what to do????? Not the other way around. Great Jathedars of the past would never allow the things we see happening today in Punjab.

  28. Sat Sangat Ji, I used to have problems also when i tried at the age of around 26/27...used to make excuses when the alarm went off...and even if i got up, i would fall asleep very quickly. Don't feel bad about this...now when i look back it was all part of the evolution process...making the effort, failing, trying again...your love for God/Guru gets stronger...keep doing your ardaas. When the time is right, you'll be doing it with no problems whatseover. Now (at the age of 33) i have been doing Daily Amrity Vela Naam Simran for 2.5 hours for the past 3 months....and i dont even use an alarm clock. I do an ardaas before sleep asking Guru Ji to gently wake me up when 'HE' wants me to do Simran and MArit Vela....and you know what, you get woken up at the right time...for me i get to sleep at about 10.30/11pm, and get genty woken at around 2.30/3am everynight. I couldnt sit for longer than 30 minutes doing simran, now 2.5 hours goes very quickly ... never give up...everytime we fall, we come back stronger the next time. Do not bother with alarm clocks...All is God, there is no Ego in this...only He exists and He will wake you up when its the best time. And don't feel upset if on the odd day you dont get woken up...sometimes God knows when you need your sleep more. Through your Naam Simran, and Guru Ji's grace...when you start to get your own personal experience of God, you'll never ever look back again

  30. After listening to Giani Ji's katha a couple of years ago with guru ji's kirpa I tried to complete 125,000 Mool Mantars up to hosi bhi such. I used a tally counter which counts up to 9999. Every time it reached 10,000 I wrote it down on a piece of paper. It practically lived with me for the entire time I was doing it. At first it was very hard especially since I had never done anything like it before. On some days I did more than others and when ever my hand went into my pocket and touched the counter spontaneously my jaap would start. Sitting, walking when ever I felt I could do one I did... Giani Ji said initially don't worry about completing it in 40 days just do it so you get into the routine. Took me just over a year. I didn't know about any maryaada, so just did an ardas before guru ji when I started in his hazoori and at the end I finished the last few in Guru ji's hazoori and took a ramala and sweets for my Guru. Setting yourself a large goal is one of the best methods to remain focused as Giani ji has recently stated. The mind starts strong but after a few days it no longer wants to do it. Reminding yourself that you have set this goal and it must be reached keeps you going on the path. The pyaar, and relief ;-) hehehe, one has after the milestone is reached is unexplainable. Sure for those who already do loads everyday they might not need to count. But for beginners like myself I can't thank Giani JI enough for inspiring me to try it out. The only advice I would give myself now should I ever attempt it again is to try and listen to the mantar with full attention of the mind when reciting. Whether you do it orally or with the voice of the mind :stupidme: I do not write this post in pride but hope that if one person reads it and it inspires them to undertake it then I'll be most pleased. If someone like me can do it so can you... May Waheguru Ji bless us all in our own personal journey's to be in his pyaaray charan.
