  2. 1. The Referendum has been organised by ‘Sikhs For Justice’ who are a Human Rights Organisation made up of ‘Lawyers’ based in America. The group is led by Gurpatwant Singh Pannu who ‘Yes’ is a Lawyer, so that answers your question. 2. Politicians can only be selected once the ‘Independent Sikh Homeland’ comes into existence and the formation of any Government are questions that should be answered once this becomes a reality. Remember India prior to Independence never had any Political Candidates, Structure or Experience of running a country, so this question should not arise with Referendum 2020. 3. Questions regarding Economy, Military, Defence etc. Once again when India came into existence what was the projected GDP? No one asked or answered this question and if you are asking this then clearly the only problems you see are Economic in Punjab. The creation of a Sikh Homeland is to primarily preserve and protect our Faith from being assimilated into Hinduism, protect our people from future Genocide and most importantly stop the bedbi of Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. All of which we have seen systematically since the creation of India. The economy of Punjab is all ready broken and the future under Indian control will push the Punjab further into drought, famine, drug dependency and terminal illnesses. Defence budgets and military lstructure will be for the Government to decide and the purpose of the Military will be to protect the borders, not suppress and murder its own citizens as the Indian state has done to Sikhs in India. These questions should not exist in any Sikhs mind. Lastly ‘Shiv Sena’ is protected and funded by the Indian State so to eradicate this disease is not a possibility for the people of Punjab whilst they remain under Indian occupation. Once we are Independent only then we can met out the correct punishment on a level playing field. I am not affiliated to ‘Sikhs For Justice’ or ‘Referendum 2020’ but I support any group or movement who works for the betterment of our Panth. I urge everyone to support this movement and think of the consequences of another 70 years of Hindu rule in Punjab. Wake up and smell the coffee!

  3. Slowly and gradually bring in simran and physical training into your life. It will help big time. Not training has a dual effect of actually making us feel less energetic. You have to take steps yourself, no one but you can make you do it.

  5. Mods can easily check whether I've ever liked one of my own posts. I have never ❤ one of my own posts. So, they can also check it for you, too. Also, you played yourself. Why would you assume I was referring to you if you don't have a guilty conscience?

  7. true , that's why we all need to be meticulous and look beyond what we feel is the simplest arth because Guru Sahiban was/is talking to us in a multifacted and multidepth way always and despite what your average Gora thinks English is definitely unsubtle for such concepts.

  10. They're labouring under the dangerous idea that their hard fought middle class existence will shield them from any potential unrest; that's it's only going to affect the ghettos and the rough areas because that's where the "undesirables" live. They hold the people who are slightly rough around the edges, or those who've fallen through the cracks, with contempt -- although they'd never admit it -- yet funnily enough their misplaced faith in the "system" will send them into an existential crisis when the false safety net they cling to is going to be withdrawn. As much as I'm not anti-white or any of that pallaver, apne of a certain social status in Western countries have too much faith in the sincerity and the integrity of the White establishment. These people have sold out the fellows of their own race; ain't nobody give a jack about us. Sink or swim.

Honestly apne should stop pretending to be black like the arabs /pakis/bennies do , he sounds intensely stupid . It just opens the door for apni kudian thinking the pretenders are 'sikh'

  12. I advised him not to marry because I knew it wasn't a wise decision based on his situation and mindset, BUT when it was done, I assumed he'd step up and take on his responsibilities as a husband and potential father. It's not a novelty; gay men throughout history have lead harmonious and productive family lives despite their leanings. They step-up and realise what's at stake, and then proceed to make the necessary sacrifices to make things work. I realise that takes a particular personality to execute that brand of situation. I assumed the lad would follow that example.

  13. All babies are hale and hearty because it is the soul that counts not the body , you keshdhari hindu you are no sikh of the guru because you have zero nimrata, daya, prem, or zameer . Women are not your playthings and no child born is YOURS these are Akal Purakh's children given to you as a special sewa. Lose the ahankar and deal with your life properly.

  14. The worst thing is he opened his filthy mouth to castigate the mother of his child (remember how he was boasting a couple of weeks back) and make sure she knew that she cannot count on him AT ALL to support her in her bad days , what a catch ! I am sure all those who told him not to spoil a girl's life are now certain that there position was correct. The only love he has is for himself as that is the only one so far he hasn't blamed for anything , the whole world is wrong only he is correct.

  15. Don't take it offensive but fact is fact. Western born Sikhs are weak in the physical strength unless they actually do any hard labor work, goes to gym/crossfit etc. Sikhs in india (not all) lives hard life and naturally they are more nature adapted and has more stamina than a foreign born sikh or in fact any western born kid.

  16. I’m going to wade in here. I’m a doctor. I’ve done my stint in obs and gynae. Let’s say you terminate this child and have another one. Baby appears to be born perfectly healthy. Autistic traits don’t show until around age 12 months so it would be that long until anyone would notice an issue. What then? Do you plan to kill your child? Termination of a pregnancy is not problem-free either and complications can develop. Would you be happy if your wife died because you pushed for a termination? Your wife has a right to carry her child to term too. You can either choose to stand by her or run away. At least find out the cause of the fever.

  17. Okay, you've been posting your depression on the forum for years now. Tell me exactly how you are being treated right now. What counselling are you having, have you had? What meds are you on, have you been on? What has your GP said to you. Please tell us. Do you think you've made any progress in the last few years with your condition? What was your relationship with your parents like?

  19. You have been proven wrong, now you are trying to put words in my mouth and twist what I’ve said. You said - Quote “So you want to risk your life in a fight by acting and behaving aggressively. End up in hospital or even worse Lose your life over some petty squabble with some Yob that has no life and probably wants to take someone down with him.” I never said fight for the sake of acting and behaving aggressively. Nor did I say fight over petty squabbles. You are digging yourself into a hole. This topic is about Sikhs not being able to stick up for themselves and Sikh youth being bullied. Like I’ve already said, use of violence is a last resort to defend oneself or another innocent, when all other means have failed. This it seems you now agree with me and have changed your stance as you said- Quote “Obviously Sikhs need to stand up for themselves. Bullying only happens when we let it. Pumping weights is good. But should only be used in self defence. “ Im glad we can end this discussion in agreement!!

  21. A true warrior is both mentally and physically strong. You say- ”use intellect rather then their fists” Guru gobind singh maharaj said when all other means fail it is righteous to use the sword. If an innocent woman or child is getting attacked on the street, you will use intellect how? A true sikh will destroy any aggressor there on the spot. You think a Sikh should hide away and call the police? No one is suggesting Sikhs should become ghetto thugs, but we should be able to face up to / defend ourselves or other innocents against such thugs using violence if necessary. Further more, true Sikhs accept death, they too have nothing to lose, this is a great quality, in fact guruji says before coming to him- pehla maran kabool jeevan ji schad aas first accept death and give up all hope of life Are you a follower of mahatma ghandi / non violence by any chance? You sound like a <banned word filter activated>

  22. Another unpopular opinion: these people (not white-collar boxers; generally, people with an inkling for the rough and tumble / slightly riskier side of existence) aren't emotionally blackmailed into conformity by religious or spiritual beliefs that lean too heavily to the side of inaction, pacifism, karmic balance ("what goes around, comes around" therefore we thumb the nose at the divine order of letting things take their course by taking matters into our own hands), etc. There's absolutely an aspect of these ideas that are true, but we seem to hide behind these truths because the alternative, equally valid opposite end of the spectrum, seems to be something we've been conditioned to believe that only "bad", unintelligent, unsophisticated people do. That was never the case in our heyday. Domestication, per se, has de-fanged us. We've lost that edge. We need to regain it, quickly.

  23. That is one part of it for sure. Some of our people are too comfortable. Our forefathers did not get where they were without stepping out of that comfort zone. We as a community over intellectualise too much (particularly on this forum) It creates analysis by paralysis. That is one thing that the pendu unparh types have over us and that is take chances and not fear failure. It could be due to them having nothing to lose, it could be due to their hunger and desire. However, us intellectual comfortable types may need some discomfort if we want to maintain and appreciate the lives we have created for ourselves. You see this white collar boxing thing taking off with these guys that earn 6 figures. There is something clearly lacking in us. We need to get it back.

  24. We look around in the hope others will join us in a brave breakaway from the norm. Stepping outside accepted conventions is a daunting task for most people; it's tougher for a community such as ours that's still conditioned to conform in many ways. What I've learnt is that only those who have nothing to lose are brave enough to take that step into the unknown. The guy with a comfortable life who's pulling in 5 or 6 figures; has spacial living conditions, and a decent support system has no reason to upset the status quo that's provided him with the comforts he and his dependents have weaned themselves into believing they cannot survive without. That guy isn't going to lead the call for change. In fact, he'll try his utmost to temper the dissent because he realises it has the potential to upset his apple cart in the future.

  25. I don't know how many times this topic keeps cropping again and again and again. You wimps know what you need to do, just do it, stop making BS excuses. Go to the gym and improve your fitness, lift weights. Take up boxing and martial arts, learn to defend yourself. It's not that hard, it is simple, just get off your ****

  26. Lol, he's only a little bit younger than me. The faux street culture and lingo is too cringe. I can understand when people who actually live in and around those areas and that life adopt some of those mannerisms, etc, but when our predominantly middle class lot embrace what is essentially an inferior state of being, on the surface at least, it serves to reinforce the idea that we are weak and sheep-like. To do it for street-cred or notoriety is silly.
