  2. The number of Punjabi families, even ones from GurSikhi background celebrating Karwa Chauth is really surprising... We got girls doing karwa chauth, Singhs fasting for Ramadan, .... Go to around 2:17 Years ago when i used to work supermarket, the amount of Punjabi 'Sikh' middle aged auntiya that get caught stealing....so much heer pheri ....there was one who'd go to the gurdwara, her daugher wasA grade student, anyway was very naive but she'd come to my till and she'd leave some items on her trolley and rest she'd paid....idiotically because i didn't want to tell (was new working) i'd let it slip by me...one day i just had it, i asked her you still go items in trolley she'd pretend she didnt understand and was on phone..then once she left i went told supervisior, and they went after her.....can you believe she had unpaid 6 bags of atta, and electronics worth more than £200....they took her to security and made her pay banned her for life..think police came not sure...and that say her mother was there who was like 60's taken Amrit, ! As soon as secuity was called, her mother and grandson flew the store and left her to deal with it! They all complicit knew what her daughter steals! Besharme de lok. Following week saw her Gurdwara! My mum say amount of apnye ladies that been caught taking cash, here phere at work, and these are women with kids at uni, with decent lives, normal typical Punjabi women you see whether at Gurdwara or elsewhere!

  4. A lot of hera pheri in some Punjabi families. We have this Punjabi family living here, not sure if they are Sikhs, they are from Cheer background and they practice Hinduism and Sikhi, like they go mandir, karva chaur, fasting, yet they go Gurdwara as well, so not sure what they are, but anyway the lady got her son to get his friends to break into their house and smash everything up, she then got money back through insurance and stuff! how mad is that! She then used to go running up to people telling everyone how her house got "robbed" and that everyone should be careful! yh whatever every1 knows the truth! Unbelievable to do something like that you need a certain degree of corruption and twisted-ness in your head, if i tried doing that (i never would) it would flop and i would get caught!

  5. There is no evidence that the person was a Sikh in the first place, just because a YouTube channel with less than 2000 subscribers posts a video like this doesn't mean it's true, also, even if it is real, why get triggered by it, if the guy actually converted than maybe he wasn't really into Sikhi anyway, either way, it looks fake as hell to me.

  6. As per the same logic Guru Gobind singh jee ate food we also ate food so does that mean we are on the same plane ? Brhamin take bath I also take bath OMG am I a brhamin ? If Guru sahib bowed before Nirgun saroop of bhawani whats wrong in bowing before idol ? Idol is not bhawani its a stone and stone can never be worshiped.

  7. The article is basically saying how the older established Punjabis don't like the younger Punjabis who came to Canada as students. The reason some of those Punjabis gave was that they say the students loiter the streets, they stare at women, they make all the basements unlivable, they fight a lot which gives Canadian Punjabis a bad rep.

  12. Fateh, Veer ji! It is good to know that you will be serving the Tamil community with as much passion, energy and focus as you did the Palestinian people. Yes, I still disagree with your stance on the Palestinian/Israeli conflict as your actions will be politicised and you will be serving the cause of Arab and Islamic imperialism whether you want to or not. In the long term I believe that this will harm Sikhi. But I apologise for misunderstanding your intentions. It is good to know that you are not applying the Sevapanthi ideals solely to populist causes. Please continue to inform us here what causes the Sikh Activist Network is fighting for and how, as it will allow everyone here to support you when they feel they are able. Regards, K.
