  1. I perfer Punjabi's giving their kids names like 'Simon' or 'Michael' than something like 'Angelpreet' or 'Heavendeep' or even 'Jessicapreet'.

  2. The Whitewashed Punjabis, especially the ones in Asian areas, you can easily tell them apart. Its hard to explain but its the body language, the nuance, which give it away. You don't even need to hear them talk, you can just tell. Its hard to explain lol A lot of Whitewashed Punjabis also love to laugh at Indian culture and make curry jokes with their White mates. Back when i used to use trains/public transport i used to notice this quite a bit especially the office boys. Its these same people that give their kids White names. Anyway, its up to them at the end of the day, maybe they have chosen not to raise their kids in Sikh culture and have actually decided to raise them with White culture, in that case you can't really question their decision to give their kids White names

  3. Not really tbh I wasn't raised as a Sikh either, all i knew was the mool mantar that Guru Nanak Dev ji is our 1st guru and that Guru Gobind Singh ji is our 10th guru. As i kid i used go Gurdwara every Sunday but stopped going when i was a teenager, and that was it! So i wasn't raised as a Sikh. But i still knew basic stuff like when you have a baby you are supposed to go Gurdwara and do hukkam for a letter and when the baby is born you first take it Gurdwara from the hospital and then take it home. Thats basic stuff! Even my cousins who dance around with pints on your heads know this stuff. And most new parents are in their 30s, so kind of surprising that they don't know these basic things. But then again they probably know them but just prefer not to because they prefer raising their kids less traditionally and more westernized ... But maybe it just depends on the families ....

  4. You know what the biggest difference between Afro-Carribean and Black Africans? The Africans don't allow colonial baggage to stifle them. If you see the Africans in acting roles (their traditional African names) aren't stifling them like Idris Elba. To get into acting roles, you are mixing with Luvvies who are tending to be upper classes. Even the profression of Rugby which is seen as a middle class sport has quite a lot of Black African players with African names. To the gorah, if you have an Anglicised name, they are asking the question "what are you hiding?".

  5. And here's the thing, there is nothing wrong in sticking out. In the current climate with diversity, it's a plus point. Even the Ashkenazis have a few tell tale signs, if you know what to look for.

  6. From a couple of days ago. American politician hags himself, and then tries his best to ensure it doesn't slide down his leg onto the floor.

  9. SVAIYAA Paa(n)e gahe jab té tumré tab té ko’oo aa(n)kh taré nehee aanyo. Ram rahim Puran Quran anak kahai mat eek na maneyo. Simrat shaastr badh sabh bohu bhedh kahai ham eik na janyo. Siree asipaan kripaa tumree kar(i), mai na kahyo sabh tohé bakhaanyo. (30) O God ! Since I have held your feet, none other has entered my vision; Ram, Rahim, Puranas, Quran and many others recite, but I don't believe in even one. The Simritis, Shastras and Vedas describe many mysteries, but I don't recognise even one of them; O Sword-wielder God! All this I write, with your blessings, is not what I know but what you have shown me.

  10. My cousin gave up smoking all by himself without any professional help. He started smoking when he was 14 and stopped when he was around 40. He said if you really want to give it up then you can but you need to convince yourself and really try. If part of you wants to stop but then a part of you still wants to smoke then it ain't gnna work! I think a lot of people already feel defeated even before they try to stop, it's a mental thing aswell.

  11. How the Whites in power see us is different to how they see Whites. It's always been like that. In the news some White politician said that ethnic minorities are breaking "rules" and spreading the virus, 100s of comments below the article were agreeing with this politician. But at the same time 1000s of White people were laying naked on beaches like walruses. So who was breaking the rules? They will always blame us. HIV/AIDs was created by white people in a lab and then they blamed Black people for its spread. White people created it and then spread it in Africa resulting in the deaths of millions.

  12. You never know when things could turn you know! tension seems to be rising beneath the surface ... Black dance group Diversity did a performance about Black lives matter on Britains got talent and the show received over 20,000 complaints. Media is shoving a lot of bame people on tv, a bit too many! its as if they are trying to trigger a reaction from White folks. Should they stop singing "rule britannia" because Black youth don't relate to it was a topic on a morning show! Imagine how White people watching the show felt about that!

  14. Wrong move. Anonymous internet polls skew reality. Most people will just troll or vote for themselves. The admins should decide.
