I don't think we truly realise how powerful our 3 Sikh TV Channels in the UK really are. The amount of non-Amritdhari people watching them is astounding. I know of 3 people, who never went to the Gurdwara and had no interest in Sikh whatsoever...have actually kept their kes just from watching the Sikh Channels, one of them is now Amritdhari!!! I know of soooo many people who were anti-Sant Jarnail Singh but now they're not - by just watching the Sikh Channels. But the most crazy thing of all is, we really don't realise how many people in India watch the Sikh Channels online...trust me! So the message is getting out there in India...what we need is more parchaar against our enemies that are trying to portray sikhs as Hindu's on the channels. The parchaar on the channels is listened by so many people that just don't go to the Gurdwara and it is having tremendous impact...but more different shows & topics are required to cater for all. So a message to the youth...we need more programs in English...so please step forward! We need to get involved more in these channels, we can't just leave it to the elders. We need more inspirational youngsters to come forward!

Leaving the Sri Dasam Granth Sahib debate to one side...this guy is challenging Jaap Sahib, by doing so he is challenging our Amrit...when our Amrit is being challenged, then there is no Sikh..without Amrit we're nothing...then how can we say we got bigger issues to deal with? I know Harinder Singh (SikhRI) has just done a talk at Park Ave and i'm certain he would have echoed this sentiment (we have bigger issues), but when it comes to our Amrit, i'm sorry but i disagree...it is not just a big issue, its a HUGE issue!

If either the elderly or severely disabled require a chair then i personally don't have a problem...provided they are either very old or severely disabled. Maybe someone needs to police the use of chairs to ensure only those that actually require the use of chairs, use them.

I bet there are also some 'GurMukhs' that don't believe that the whole of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee is Dhur kee Bannee. I bet there are some 'GurMukhs' that defile saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee & i bet there are also some 'GurMukhs' that don't believe in Vaheguroo at all - but as you said "rightly so, as its each to their own" - let people throw Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee's saroops in wells but hey...everyone's entitled to their opinion ...end of sarcasm! spot on! They've lost the plot...i highly praised Sangat TV for the great parchaar at first...but now to me they are like the dogra's, they will kiss anyone's backside to inflate their own Ego and maintain their own Raj at the expense of the panth!

The biggest problem Sikhs face today is that they all believe ALL religions are the same and equal. This is the biggest and yet common error in Sikhs...Sikhs respect all religions and believe that everyone has the right to chose and practice their own faith but that is it. This notion of you should follow the religion you are born in is another mistake Sikhs make. Be a Sikh not because you were born in a sikh family but because Sikhi is the ultimate Truth. All religions are not equal...if they were then all the prophets of all those reigions are equal. Do Sikhs really believe that Prophet Muhammed or Krishan Bhagvan are equal to Guru Nanak Dev Jee..thats just sheer stupidity! They may have done may great things but still they had Ego...Guru Gobind Singh says so in Bachittar Natak and so does Gurbani. Guru Nanak Dev Jee was flawless...the other prophets of other relions were not! Lets get real, no faith is equal to Gurmat. We resepect the right of others to chose whatever path they want to follow and we don't mock anyone else's beleifs...but Sikhi is the real deal...no flaws..just perfect! Sangat TV need to realise this and stop sucking up to Muslims and allowing them to preach their message of intolerance and do duah! What a joke!

What is Sangat TV thinking...seriously...i mean Sonia Deol! Sangat Tv...i'm just disgusted!!!! This women made the most unbiased film on what was called 'The Sikh Story'...more like 'Sonia's Story'. Sangat TV...is the sangat's channel and as a result shopud remove Sonia from the screen. Get another other non-kesadhari...thats not a problem...but not her! Sonia Deol & Tommy Nagra should never be allowed any platform on any Sikh TV Channel.

i just went on Sangat Tv online and there's like 550 people watching it as we speak. Singhstah jee, your ideas is spot on...if Sangat TV can get more Gursikh to do parchar in English...that will be amazing! Its very good that they're playing Sikhi Camp & Khalsa Camp trailers...they're very inspring and more importantly in English. Please try to put on Discovery & all the old Transformations etc The view online were dropping but have picked up again since the English content. Please don't keep repeating the same content over and over though

Bhaji, if you listen carefully, not everything he preaches is correct. In one of his discourses he openly challenges the sakhi when Guru Nanak Dev Jee did the final test of all his Sikhs and it was only Bhai Lehna who was prepared to eat the dead body. He openly said that this sakhi is made up in it totality - clearly he's using his own mat (Manmat) instead of the Guru's Mat here. Regarding why Sikh Channel/Sangat TV show him...one reason...money. I guarantee they pay big bucks to show they're adds and be live!

Guru Arjen Dev Jee used to personally give bheta to Satta & Balwand pre & post the wrtiting of Ramkalee kee vaar....using your terminology the gift of Keertan must have been being "abused" by Guru Jee because Guru Jee gave bheta (money to them)? Doing keertan nishkam is utham but seriously stop generalising. Yeah while many people do keertan just for money but there are others that do it for the love of keertan ie if someone wants to truely learn the vidiya of true keertan in raag, one must give their all...hence these souls don't have regular jobs and out of satkaar for their vidiya, if one gives them a small donation and they accept it...they're abusing keertan...really? Yup these people should just starve to death...right?
