FATEH ji!

i got  a 7 metre malmal material, and i folded it n tried tying the dumalla .. from the video

Image attached is my latest try.. and yeh i cant get that joora down :wub:

i agree with S1NGH that is a great attempt!!!!!!! lol i've also tried using the video to tie the gol dastaar like the bhenji but no luck yet! i can't figure out how long the material should be my dad reckons 5 metres is too long for me! can anyone help? my dad tried to saja dastaar on me but it was waaaaaaaay too loose (plus i kinda got cussed for my joora because my hair is layered so it doesn't all tie in)! <_< looks like i have to keep practising!

Alot of the youths that I know prefer damalla/dastar because its easier to put on, plus it looks very stylish and they stand out more from the norm. :e:

The moguls did not like Sikhs wearing turbans, as this was a sign of royalty etc. For this reason, they said only Muslims could wear turbans.
