It is approaching one year since one of the most beautiful souls ever to grace us with their sangat left this earth to return to sachkand; That soul being Puran Brahamgyanni Sachkand Vasi Sant Baba Thakur Singh Jee

Baba Jee left us on 24th December 2004 in Amritsar after returning from Hazoor Sahib.

Sent by Vaheguru in 1915, Baba Jee lived to become the epitome of a puran gursikh, absorbed in Naam, Baani and Selfless Seva.

They were blessed with 22 years of Garvaye seva for Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Jee Khalsa and then continued seva of langar and sangat with Sant Giani Kartar Singh Jee Khalsa, whilst remaining imbued in Naam Simran.

Thereafter Baba Ji appointed Sant Giani Jarnail Singh Jee Khalsa as Damdami Taksal Mukhi, who continued the morchas started by Sant Kartar Singh Jee as well as awakening the sleeping masses.

After the attack on Sri Harmandar Sahib in 1984, and in the absence of Sant Ji, Baba Ji continued seva for Damdami Taksal throughout the world, blessing international sangat with their beautiful darshan.

This year is the First UK Barsi for Baba Ji, which will be held at:

I understand that the different jathe are doing keertan each evening in the week leading upto the akhand path? Is this true? Will Gyani Takhar Singh Ji be doing katha during this week as well?

Gianni Thakur Singh will not be doing katha for the week. Starting from Monday there will be a rotation of youth kirtanis and some of the kirtan jathas listed in the last post every day until the aramb/maybe bhog. As for the international jathas it depends on when they willl be arriving in the country.

If any kirtani would like to take part in this please feel welcome to do so. This is not a programme belonging to any certain people, its for anyone who had pyaar for Baba Ji and wants to be a part of this special programme. Baba Ji was so amazing everybody who met them has seems to have to have a feeling that "Baba Ji was mine" therefore this is a benti to everyone to come along and to advertise the programme everywhere.

i know what u mean it is hard without baba jee in the physical prescence, VERY HARD . . . like to c everyone at the barsi, if anyone else wants to take amrit plz let harjinder singh khela know as stated above asap, plz try to attend today at tividale for the shaheedi samagam of baba gurbakhash singh ji
