Victory To Guru Maharaj And The Panth over Ek Niwas

Recommended Posts

Apparently, it has been agreed that Maharajs saroop will be taken off Ek Nivaas under an agreement reached today with police, members of the sangat and attendees from Ek Nivaas.

And can i just say to the <banned word filter activated> who decided to text "Ek Bakwaass" to everyone ... have some respect for such places of worship. I find it really hurtful when people make fun of the Gurdwara and its damn right rude to go name-calling Ek Niwaas "Bakwaass". Whatever your views on it, it brings people (in a weird way maybe) closer to the Supreme Lord. Just because your views arent inline with it, doesnt mean you can resort to such name calling. I would rather more places of worship open rather than there being more pubs, clubs, bars etc etc opening in place of them. I am sure you would have hurt feelings of people who go to Ek Nivaass and are genuinely passionate about their worship to Maharaj... and for you to hurt their feelings brother, is big paap on your head. Watch what you say and inspire others.

Peace out.

Dear Cyber-Sangat Ji,

taken from www.mistakesingh.blogspot.com

Sangat victorious over Ek Niwaas

Congratulations to global Sangat regarding the Beadbi that WAS occuring at Ek Niwaas.

It has been confirmed in police presence that Maharaj will no longer be kept at Ek Niwaas and will be handed over to Akal Takht Sahib.

This is just another case where when the Sangat unites, under one flag, with one motive we can change anything.

Dhan Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj

In the last week or so many different jatha's and Gursikhs of the panth came under the banner of the Khalsa to sort out Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji's beadbi that has been occuring for 7+ years in Wolverhampton at Ek Niwas.

It was so inspiring and heart warming to see young and old, akj to GNNSJ members, various gurdwara committies, amritdhari and sehajdhari all come together with the support of the Akal Thakht to fight this issue together.

To us this was a true display of Ekta. Putting aside all differences and grievences to fight for a common goal.

May Guru Ji bless all those who fight under His banner together d_oh.gif

The fact remains SGPC and Akal Takht Sahib remain in the hands of Prakash Chand Badal and his stooges.

Mrs Badal and several of badal's akali leaders have been visiting and hob nobbing with bhaniaraywala who has been responsible for burning many swaroops of Shri Guru Granth Sahib and who has been excommunicated from Sikh panth.

Even congress leaders have been meeting bhaniarawala.

The Dharam yudh morcha to liberate our Gurdwaras from prakash badal and family is starting from July 8th ,2006.

It will not be as easy as "ek niwas" as the persons who are to be evicted are in Sikhi swaroop but the Panth is prepared to give any number of sacrifices to liberate the SGPC and our Gurdwaras from the clutches of badal,BJP and RSS .

No doubt our Akal Takht is great but the persons occupying them are masands and poojaris .

    • Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. Gurbani isn't a 1428 page rulebook, like Leviticus or the Vedas: ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਾਪ ਬੀਚਾਰਦੇ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਾਝਹੁ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ The Simritis and Shastras discriminate between charity and sin, but know not the essence of the Real Thing. Without the Guru, they know not the essence of the Reality, know not the essence of the Reality. Anand Sahib.
    • You're confusing two different things: One is merely adding starch to a turban to get a certain feel to the fabric. The other is tying your turban once and taking it off like a hat. It is this that people have a problem with. What's wrong with it is that Rehit says to tie your turban afresh every time. If you ask, "Where is that written?", it's written in Bhai Nand Lal ji's Rehitnama. @ipledgeblue didn't just make it up. Umm, no, bro. We're not evangelical Christians like President George W Bush of the US claiming to "talk to God" who told him to invade Iraq. "Speaking to him directly" basically ends up being doing whatever you feel like with the excuse that Guru ji told you to do it. If you still want to take your turban off like a hat, feel free to do so, but don't claim that it's Rehit.
    • You don't need to wear either a pag or dumalla in the gym. You can simply wear a meter or 1.5m small turban (gol pagg or round turban). It doesn't come off.
    • The reason you don't see anything wrong with it is because like a fish in water, you grew up in Western culture and imbibed it fully. It's very difficult to for parents to inculcate traditional culture while in the West. The reason there is a problem is because a kiss between a man and wife is a sexual act (I didn't say it's coitus, but it's still sexual.) By contrast a kiss between a mother and a child, for example, is not sexual. And in our culture, sexual acts are not allowed in public. Goras do allow it. And that's also the reason they have gay pride parades now with people walking around naked with children in attendance and so forth.
