Errm any educated person will be able to make their own judgement. Media Sewa as you said that

Please see the files below from various Media Sources who have worked together to expose this fake.

But all the Article titles say "Tarnn DALL" so the media is simply reporting what tarna dall is saying. Here in uk Exposure means that independant party has found certain facts that exposes someone. All the attachements seem nothing but mud slinging and reaching out for the last straw because Lets face it, most indians hate pakistanis so if you want to tarnish someone's reputation just claim that the person is a Pakistani Agent. grin.gif

Col. G.S. Sandhu's fight against Human Rights Abuses

By SSNews, tribune

Sep 28, 2006, 16:21

After a successful tour of UK Sikh Gurdwaras and media - raising awareness of important social issues in Punjab, Colonel GS Sandhu is now in the USA. He is well known for spearheading the Majha Ex-Servicemen Front, which has proven pivotal in making representations to bring self-proclaimed chief of Tarna Dal "Nihang" Ajit Poohla to book. The Sikh community across the world appreciates the hard work he and his organisations do in social projects in Punjab.

Ajit Poohla, a criminal, stands accused of abductions, rapes, torture, and merciless killings of Sikhs. Poohla worked as a hit man against the Sikh community for the Punjab Police as a Police Cat. He was then known as Jaswinder Singh, alias ‘Good Fighter’. He had jumped bail in a case and changed identity, allegedly with police support. In what can only be described as state-sponsored terrorism Poohla used extra judicial powers, besides being provided with heavy security. Poohla, being a police informer in the days of the militancy was virtually untouched by the police or the state government. Poohla had captured seven Gurdwaras and even the SGPC was not ready to take a stand.

In the midst of such a scenario, Col Sandhu decided to take up cudgel and fight for the rights of the villagers. The media and press helped in highlighting the atrocities and finally with the help of the police, Sandhu managed to get Poohla arrested. As the terror Poohla reigned in Punjab is depleting, more people are coming to register cases against him due to the sheer number of human rights abuses he committed.

During the field research of the Committee for Coordination on Disappearances, they found that many survivors implicated Ajit Poohla in human rights abuses in conjunction with Punjab police officers. For example, in the case of Manjit Kaur’s husband Sardul Singh, Poohla forcibly detained Manjit Kaur for two nights at his house (after she was forcibly detained for one night at the house of Senior Superintendent of Police Ajit Sandhu) in return for her husband’s freedom. The police still tortured and executed Sardul Singh.

Poohla (pictured) was also involved in the disappearances of Baba Resham Singh and several people working under his leadership on the renovation of the historical Gurudwara Sri Hargobindpur (Damdama Sahib Gurdwara), Poohla wanted to take control over the Gurudwara and, in collusion with the Tarn Taran police, abducted Baba Resham Singh and his close associates. They were tortured and, as they refused to handover the control of the Gurudwara to Poohla, were killed in the night between 27 and 28 April 1993, in two separately orchestrated “encounters". After this, Poohla took possession of the Gurudwara, vehicles, cash and ‘kar seva’ material. The SGPC did nothing at this time.

Poohla also grew poppy crop on four acres of Gurdwara land. Poohla was later booked for using the land, adjacent to Gurdwara Nanak Sagar, near Chandigarh for opium production which was then sold on.

In another case, Mr Subeg Singh, father of a minor girl of Poohla village in his complaint to the Bhikhiwind police said on the night intervening August 9-10th 2000, Kartar "Singh", PA, to "Nihang" Ajit Poohla of Amritsar, Baljit "Singh", a Punjab Police constable along with two other "Nihangs" came to his farm house, forcibly locked him in a room and abducted his 14-year girl. During Poohla's reign of terror, Sikhs accuse him of abducting many very young Sikh girls including a seven-year-old daughter of a Singh who was molested and then dismembered.

The crimes committed by Ajit Poohla against the Sikh community are endless and yet even today behind bars, his supporters and the people who used him as a tool to commit the heinous crimes against the Sikh community walk free in Punjab.

Sect leader on the rampage after release from jail

By Jaideep Sarin, Indo-Asian News Service

Chandigarh, Mar 12 (IANS) Out on bail hours after his arrest earlier this week, a leader of a religious sect in Punjab widely seen as a dreaded criminal has launched a counter-attack on his opponents threatening to take them on physically.

Ajit Singh Phoola, who heads the Tarna Dal, a sect of religious Nihang Sikhs, was arrested Sunday, capping what was seen as a reign of terror in the state's border areas.

However, he was released only a few hours later and has reportedly been on the rampage since then. With the ruling Congress government deliberately looking the other way, Phoola and his gang of armed supporters have started intimidating villagers again.

Armed to the teeth with sophisticated weapons including machine guns, carbines, AK-47 and AK-56 assault rifles, pistols, revolvers and other guns, Phoola and company have reportedly again laid siege to two Sikh temples.

Phoola, who helped police eliminate many terrorists during the decade long terrorism in Punjab in the 1980s and 90s, allegedly enjoys the patronage of senior officers in state police.

The names of two inspector generals of police, Sumedh Singh Saini and Suresh Arora, appeared in newspapers last year as Phoola's brothers in obituary advertisements of his father.

Saini and Arora were at the forefront in the fight against terrorism in the state.

The Tarna Dal has become notorious for its illegal activities in Punjab.

Allegations of murder, abduction, intimidation and trespassing are mounting against Phoola.

Many residents in village Phoola near the border city of Amritsar had joined an agitation against the Nihang leader and the reign of terror let loose by him.

Though police said it has recovered all weapons from Phoola and withdrawn armed police protection, his supporters are still heavily armed.

Rise in tension in the village has led to district authorities imposing prohibitory orders to curb any violence.

His release under controversial circumstances within hours of his arrest by police left people baffled.

The release was allowed by a junior police officer without even getting court orders. The case against Phoola was itself made mild to facilitate his release, sources said.

G.S. Sandhu, who formed a Phoola eviction committee, said he had lost all faith in the Punjab Police. "They are blatantly trying to shield Phoola and his terror activities."

State police chief A.A. Siddiqui had ordered action against Phoola and recovery of sanctioned weapons. The Nihang, however, still walks freely with patronage of police officers at other levels.

Police in Punjab's various districts had officially issued him 37 deadly weapons.

These included a light machine gun, a general purpose machine gun, AK-47 and AK-56 assault rifles, several self loading rifles, .303 bore rifles, carbines, pistols, revolvers and .30 bore Springfield guns

I find it so difficult to understand why Media Seva has tried tarnish the reputation of Col Sandhu?

Does he have any gains from exposing Col Sandhu?

I am not suggesting for 1 minute that Col Sandhu is an agent howver what harm is it to sikh if Col Sandhu is an Pakistani agent if his intrest at heart is for our defensless sikh brothers and sisters?

I suppose for the Hindhu Govt administartion this may have problems but where is the problem for Sikhi and how does it cause a divide between sikh's?

I believe this is a vile conspiracy against Col Sandhu.

I am curious of the exposure media seva wishes to bring against Col Sandhu - Is he trying to damage Col Sandhu's repuation in an last ditch attempt to protect his Baba from being exposed. I notice other sites where similar usernames have appeared in an attempt to protect Sant Baba Maan Singh and the User been exposed as Baba ji's main sevadars from Bham.

Is media Seva - Harinder Singh?

I understand this accusations were first whispered in Baba Maan Singh's camp about 3 weeks ago when his Uk programmes were cancelled.

Pholla has no support in the Uk - his antic are well publicised. Sant Baba Maan Singh stands to be exposed so I am worried that this is an attempt to muddy the waters.

Col Sandhu appears to be a Guru Ka Sewak. Like other brothers have stated he has risked his life to fight the injustice created by pholla and his goons.

Media Sewa is a Phoola nut-hugger. He is the type of person who shares the passions of na-ng phoola such as raping women, keeping prostitutes in Guru Ghar complexes (like Massa Ranghar did), keeping and drinking bottles of whiskey in a Gurdwara complex.

Please ignore him. He is here to seek attention. Let him carry on posting his rubbish. We all know the good Col Sandhu Ji has done and will continue to back him 100%. Frankly I could not care if he had brothers of the muslim faith living in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia or even on the moon. He should be judged by his actions not on him having brothers of another faith.

The phoola na-ngs and the other exposed "baba" nut-huggers can hold as many press conferences they like, no one who is panthic is going to take them seriously.

Lot of people in punjab know about Col. G.S Sandhu and his heroic deed how he single handedly campaigned against dreaded poohla who had full support of govt as he helped govt during it's period of terrorism. The reason maybe he's not that popular among commom people unfortunately is that he has not set up a dera and doesn't give darshan nor has name like sant e.t.c and it's a must in punjab these days.

And these bahmans are now feeling pain in their a$$E$ coz after getting poohla behind bars Col G S Sandhu has now taken up the issue of gurudom, santdom as he elaborated on tour of america....an also next on his agenda is the case of human rights abuses is punjab ...these issues which direcly against govt deeds....and now when panth is getting to know him more as he is touring abroad and people of panth fully supporting him these govt of india agents or rss agents are coming up with new stories to confuse and create a divide among people on his undisputed personality in order to stop people suporting him especially financially coz as said interview in a very straightforward manner that he needs funds to keep things going.

Media sewa is actually doing indian media's sewa.......loser

    • Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. Gurbani isn't a 1428 page rulebook, like Leviticus or the Vedas: ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਾਪ ਬੀਚਾਰਦੇ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਾਝਹੁ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ The Simritis and Shastras discriminate between charity and sin, but know not the essence of the Real Thing. Without the Guru, they know not the essence of the Reality, know not the essence of the Reality. Anand Sahib.
    • You're confusing two different things: One is merely adding starch to a turban to get a certain feel to the fabric. The other is tying your turban once and taking it off like a hat. It is this that people have a problem with. What's wrong with it is that Rehit says to tie your turban afresh every time. If you ask, "Where is that written?", it's written in Bhai Nand Lal ji's Rehitnama. @ipledgeblue didn't just make it up. Umm, no, bro. We're not evangelical Christians like President George W Bush of the US claiming to "talk to God" who told him to invade Iraq. "Speaking to him directly" basically ends up being doing whatever you feel like with the excuse that Guru ji told you to do it. If you still want to take your turban off like a hat, feel free to do so, but don't claim that it's Rehit.
    • You don't need to wear either a pag or dumalla in the gym. You can simply wear a meter or 1.5m small turban (gol pagg or round turban). It doesn't come off.
    • The reason you don't see anything wrong with it is because like a fish in water, you grew up in Western culture and imbibed it fully. It's very difficult to for parents to inculcate traditional culture while in the West. The reason there is a problem is because a kiss between a man and wife is a sexual act (I didn't say it's coitus, but it's still sexual.) By contrast a kiss between a mother and a child, for example, is not sexual. And in our culture, sexual acts are not allowed in public. Goras do allow it. And that's also the reason they have gay pride parades now with people walking around naked with children in attendance and so forth.
