Just found out from a friend - very sad news indeed.

He was a very nice and humble person and wasn't after the money. Great sevadaar of the Panth. Sad to see him go. We have lost 2 great kirtaneeas in such a short time but it is all up to Akaal. Big loss.

Bhai Avtar Singh ji's kirtan was so amazing and uplifting, i still remember his smile and the glow it let off from when he visited our Guru ghar years ago. This is a great loss for the Panth, but we should all be happy because he has merged with Akal Purakh.
