Bai anna follower nahi honna chahida, follower jinna marji pakka howe but je uh anna ho gaya pher he'll definitely fall in a ditch someday. Like Papi said Rehit sirf external nahi hundi, and dividing sikhs on basis of REHIT is sheer stupidity.

You see, look how complex a definition of a Sikh is nowadays.

In my opinion, a Sikh is not one who has taken amrit because i believe him or her to be called a Khalsa. The journey is from Sikh to Khalsa. But there is also a journey to Sikhi... you have to take steps towards Guru Jee and you do that by at least making an effort to become a Sikh. First steps should be to keep kesh, give up meat and intoxicants. From then on, purification of the body mind and soul can commence once you've taken those steps...

people like me who don't follow rehit are in a ditch looking to get out with waaheguru's kirpa. if you don't follow rehit then don't take it as an insult when people say rehit is necessary for a sikh. the truth hurts. but the truth is the truth. when people say keep rehit, don't take it as an insult, but very good advice.

Bai i totally agree with what you are saying. may be your interpretation of what i had written wasn't right or may be i wasn't clear. I never said i am against the rehit given by panj piyaare. I know rehit is necessary for a sikh , i never said its not . o beere, tusi sarra kuch putha le ge, i would never ever question a rehit. You should read from the very first post and see what i was trying to say. It wasn't about rehit.
