Thats a rhetorical question.

It's something you have to find out for yourself and then answer yourself. It means different things to different people.

But then, is the effects of Sikhi (or any religion) on the human being something you can describe or is it something that should be felt and is indescribable??

Firstly Guru Nanak Dev Ji said 'Na ham Hindu, Na musallman"

Secondly the term 'Sikh' did not evlove, Guru Nanak Dev Ji uses the term Sikh in his banni, so it was there right from the very start.

Being a Sikh has to be experienced, no matter how much description will never convey the true meaning of being a sikh. 'Walk the walk' only then will you know.

the best thing about sikhi is that it give us an opportunity to get out of the cycle of births and deaths and the law of karma. sikhi allows us to merge with akall purakh.

you are a sikh looking to progress, a 'sikh' is someone on a spiritual journey which was shown to us by the guru.

The path of righteousness has always been there, from the very beginning. But over time man faulters and his path starts to deviate from the Truth, that is when AkalPurkh sends his roop to earth to show us the way, this is where Guru Nanak dev Ji comes in, to show us the true path in Kalyug.

yepp just liek Bundha said

most religions were pure when they started but over time they have basicly changed......... moulded more around how people want things to be.......

we know about chritianity etc tec but then you get muslims who say the Koran has never changed and is still pure, have proof coming forward that it has been changed!!
