ive always felt a bit wierd talking about this kind of subject, maybe because it isnt as simple as when you look at it from face value

most gays are naturally that way, and some may be even deeply ashamed by this, the fact that they feel society will shun them, the poeple on this board who are slandering them need to step back and step into the shoes of someone who is different from society

this person is born different, do we have the right to shun and slander them? no, it was in such a persons karma that they was born different, we should show love towards all people whoever they are. the reason why i sympathise with homosexuals is because most of them will endure endless hatred in their life over soemthign they have no control over

i agree that probably all gay relationships are driven by <admin-profanity filter activated> desire and lust, but how many straight relationships are the same? are we trying to say that straight people do not lust either?

waheguru jee ka khalsa! waheguru jee kee fateh!!

there is one thing that comes to my head when i think about homosexuality.

in bani, God is said to be the HUSBAND and we are said to be His BRIDE'S..as in male and female.

The Guru's lived their lives as examples, to show us that u can live in this world and still be Gursikhs. They were not in any way gay..and had marriages according to the will of God.. and no i am not antharjamee..i do not know what God's will is, but i do know this...we aer meant to reproduce.

Pyareo,

Akal Purakh has many roles..he is the sustainer, the lord of the universe, the teacher of all teachers, father/mother, best friend, husband..in sikhi the 2 most important roles (in my eyes)

are:

He is the father and we are all his children

and

He is the Husband-Lord and we are all his soul-brides--this is most important of the two.

Anand Karaj is not really just a marriage of a man/woman..FIRST it is the marriage of ONE SOUL (husband & wife) with Akal Purakh, read the laavan..they're not talking about a wordly Husband, but rather our Husband-Lord Waheguroo. Do notice that Guroo Jee assigns us all that 'isthree' (woman) roop, notice he always refers to us as 'Soul-BRIDE', never groom..

O Nanak, the soul-bride is forever the Lord's favorite wife; her Husband Lord does not die, and He shall never leave. ||4||2||
