take a bottle full of sharab .... capped it tight ... and put it in sarovar .... no matter at harmandir sahib or ganga yamuna or at hemkunth sarovar in mecca or anywhere ... keep it for 10 days ... on tenth day take it out .... will there be any change nope ... it would be still sharab .... and more it would be a good chilled sharab ....

now take the same bottle remove the cap ... and put it in same srovar for 2 minutes take it out would it be a sharab in there no it would be a jall of sarovar ... many would drink it with full respect as blessing of their god ....

human body is like a bottle .... maan is filled with bad things .... till ur maan is not open .... u urself dont want to get it cleaned .... no matter how much and which ever tirath u go and bath it will not make a difference ...

and a tirath is tirath .... it belongs to mankind not a community ....

an excellent way to explain jassa veer ji :TH:

Hindu andha musalmaan khana - Guru Nanak Dev Ji ,Im not being racist but just outlining tht these stupid rituals mean nothing and are silly - No wonder Preetam Singh left this forum you lot all attack people like me and him

aap aapni budhi hai jaiti barnt bhinun bhinun taiti tumra lkha na jaeh psara keh bidhi prthm sunsara. (17)

Every one according to their understanding, describes You differently. The limits of Your creation cannot be known, nor how in the beginning You wrought the Universes. (17)

(Patshai Dasvi Kabio Vach Bainti Chaupai)

Maharaj tells us that each person’s budhi (understanding) is different, therefore each persons understanding is different. If Jesus, Budha and Mohammed etc only had the vision up Gian Khand then that’s because of the budhi they were give by Sri Akal Purakh as Sri Akal Purakh did not show them Sach Khand. We, as followers of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj have been given the method of realising sach khand but that doesn’t mean we need to sit their and scrutinise those that do not yet have the budhi.

Dear Veerji ;

I believe Sikhism believes in "Seva". ( http://sikhiwiki.com/index.php?title=Seva )

If we are so concerned that our Hindu brothers are bathing in a very polluted river ( where our ancestors too bathed).

tongue.gif : Let us give a "SIKHI" response to the the problem

"be a solution to the problem rather than just jeering at it or compunding it ".

" Let us clean Ganges in spirit of SEVA so that our Hindu brother are able to practise there faith without any danger to their health "

under the banner of

"NANAK NAM CHADI KALA TERE BANA SARVAT THA BHALLA "

Let us not turn our religion like some religions in this world whom Pope described as mental masterbuation.

Once the Ganges is cleaned by your forum members we can have a partytime2.gif for a job well done.

For then only will a Khalsa be called :awesome and

love

hps

    • Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. Gurbani isn't a 1428 page rulebook, like Leviticus or the Vedas: ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਾਪ ਬੀਚਾਰਦੇ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਾਝਹੁ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ The Simritis and Shastras discriminate between charity and sin, but know not the essence of the Real Thing. Without the Guru, they know not the essence of the Reality, know not the essence of the Reality. Anand Sahib.
    • You're confusing two different things: One is merely adding starch to a turban to get a certain feel to the fabric. The other is tying your turban once and taking it off like a hat. It is this that people have a problem with. What's wrong with it is that Rehit says to tie your turban afresh every time. If you ask, "Where is that written?", it's written in Bhai Nand Lal ji's Rehitnama. @ipledgeblue didn't just make it up. Umm, no, bro. We're not evangelical Christians like President George W Bush of the US claiming to "talk to God" who told him to invade Iraq. "Speaking to him directly" basically ends up being doing whatever you feel like with the excuse that Guru ji told you to do it. If you still want to take your turban off like a hat, feel free to do so, but don't claim that it's Rehit.
    • You don't need to wear either a pag or dumalla in the gym. You can simply wear a meter or 1.5m small turban (gol pagg or round turban). It doesn't come off.
    • The reason you don't see anything wrong with it is because like a fish in water, you grew up in Western culture and imbibed it fully. It's very difficult to for parents to inculcate traditional culture while in the West. The reason there is a problem is because a kiss between a man and wife is a sexual act (I didn't say it's coitus, but it's still sexual.) By contrast a kiss between a mother and a child, for example, is not sexual. And in our culture, sexual acts are not allowed in public. Goras do allow it. And that's also the reason they have gay pride parades now with people walking around naked with children in attendance and so forth.
    • The printer is C J Amritsar… They have given a mobile number for India …
