guru nanakdev ji told hindus to be firm hindus and muslims to be firm muslims ....

message for hindu do three arties a day thats what ur mareyada ...

message for muslim give 5 namaz a day thats what ur mareyada is ....

if we want to see every human human in this world should be sikh follow what we follow .... does that mean guru sahib wanted that to ....

in the end its love that will be get counted ....

Gurbaani gives not one but quite a few examples about what real aarti is, even "Hindu" bhagats in Gurbaani didn't support the Hindu aarti of flowers and divas. maybe we should read gurbaani before we sum it up for the world in cantradictory statements.

Bhagat Kabir ji questions the Muslim requirement of circumcision and says if a man becomes a muslim by circumcision how does a woman become a muslim?

Gurbaani frees people from the hindu idols and the Islamic dogma, yet we use the dictionary definition of gurbaani and tell people to live in the dark when guru sahib gives us light.

Guru Granth Sahib Ji says, Hindu Andha Turku kaana. the hindu is completely blind because he worships idols, and the Mulsim is blind in one eye because they think God only resides in Islam.

Our religion has been muddled with these vague interpretations to such an extent that they have made non-sikhs view the sikh faith as nothing but a peace effort between Muslims and Hindus, when in reality the Sikh faith is a revelation, a divine exprience by the gurus and bhagats of God.

To tell people to be firm hindus and muslims to be firm muslims is not divine, its rather contradictory to the essence of Sikhi.

If a hindu is form, he will observe his fasts, bathe in the ganga, worshipa nd feed the stone idol, and live in the caste system. All this "firmness" is totally against gurmat.

If a Muslim is a "firm" Muslim, he will be circumcised, will make a pilgrimage to Mecca, keep fast during Ramadan, all against gurmat.

So, how can we, mere manmukhs, have the nerve to sum up 1429 angs of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji with such hallow and contradictory statements that Gurbaani just says be firm hindus and Muslims.

These statements break down when we actually read and contemplate Gurbaani.

peace.
