What If You Have Your Period?

Is there anything wrong with going to an amrit sanchar when you have your period. I just wanted to make sure sounds like a silly question. All i know is that females are aloud to go to gurudwara and do paat when they have their period i think in hinduism you cant.

hindus believe that the women is unclean when she is having her menses...sikhs do not belive in any such thing.

make sure you have had isnaan of body and kes and are keeping other guma maryada, if in any doubt contact gursikhs who do seva in panj pyarey who will hve greater knowledge and can answer your concerns

there are sanitary towels and other things available so that women can carry on with their lives during their periods...life should carry on as normal..so that means our sikhi too

it has nothing to do religiously or spiritually ... but physically i dont think a girl will be comfortable sitting in beer asan during amrit sanchar in a period .... i think one should go for amrit sanchar without any tension ... mind diverted even partially to some thing else ... rest i dont know ....
