Hitler = very strange character !

Sikhs in second world War fought against the nazi regime and ALSO they fought along with germans against british... They were known as Azad Hind ! Approx. 13,000 sikhs were in that army who were fighting under nazi support/command, BECAUSE they wanna get rid of british rule in india. (BTW, those sikhs didn't know all those SS camps etc.. None of the world knew it beofre the death of Hitler."

Famous sayings of Sikhs who were with nazis : "My enemy's enemy is our friend."

I also wanted to make section on Sikhpride regarding Sikhs with germans and stuff.. but someone close to me told me not to do cauz it will damage the reputation of sikhs and i completely understand and agree with it !

here are couple of images of some sikhs who were with germans :

not many sikhs fought with hitler actually. those who did were part of rash bihari bose's (or maybe subhas chandra bose cant remember) INA (indian national army) - a group of indian fighters made up from captured jap and german PoWs - many soldiers in this army were forced into it through torture, etc.

i think rash bihari bose also helped out with bhai randhir singhs militant group when they attempted a revolution through mutinying troops in india.

True.. not many sikhs fought with hitler.. and thanks god for that.. but there were couple of hundreds/thousands here and there.. They weren't tortured, they were given an option in another word war propaganda..

here's more info :

Traitors, turncoats, and conspirators. These were some of the words used by the loyal Allied Sikh troops for their counterpart Axis Sikh troops. But this is incorrect, for these Sikhs were loyal. They were devoted to a Free India, not to enslavement by the British Raj. In the years from 1939-1945, there were over 65,000 Indian defectors who joined in the Azad Hind government of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Of those, almost 13,000 of them were Sikhs. Ranging from the shores of the Atlantic on Rommel’s fortifications in Europe to the sweltering jungles of Burma, the Sikh mutineers fought for liberation always keeping the famous saying in their minds, “My enemy’s enemy is my friend.”

yeah the 67% fact is probably true......but many were forced in and sikhs constituted a large percentage of those recruited for war anyway.......

i think that the people who fought with hitler, even tho it was against the brits, did a huuuuuuuuge paap. i dont think "my enemies enemy is my friend" is a good motto, since khalsas fight for what is right, not for self interest. even if freedom from raj is not entirely self interest.

That's true.. With no doubt hitler was very cruel..

Well.. once there was hockey match was going on between germany and british india (all sikhs mostly) and hitler was there watching the match.. Germany lost the game, after the game hitler said.. "i am not mad because they are our brothers too who won the match..." Aryan race and stuff.. that's what he said..

bro perhaps you havent studied nazi history like i have

perhaps you might want to learn about the concepts of

volksgemeinschaft (a single classless society rejecting all non aryans), lebensborn (state sponsered brothels for SS officers to make racially "pure" offspring), laws such as the prevention of hereditarly diseased progency (anyone who had a "problem" eg schizophrenia, or even constant headaches or health problems were sterilised) and the HOLOCAUST of the jews, etc as all things show that the nazis were thoroughly EVIL people and anyone who fought with them were pretty bad also.......

i dont really think that sikhs are like merceneries, who fight for whoever, i have always had the idea that a sikh was a saint soldier who fought on the side for justice etc, had the sikhs beaten the allies sumhow, and then the nazi regime spread worldwide, how would sikhs have felt then?

altho it is true on the other hand sikhs were being oppressed pretty bad in india......but i would much rather live in british raj panjab than hindu raj punjab.......brits offered us khalistan twice!

does anyone know where that came from, id love to learn more about that....

it shows how much respect sikhs had back in the days, and its sad how now sikhs moral's and character has dropped and we do such low things, whereas in the past if someone saw a singh they would recieve utmost respect

    • https://ommcomnews.com/india-news/offensive-photo-shoot-at-kartarpur-annoys-sikh-community Offensive Photo Shoot At Kartarpur Annoys Sikh Community   Offensive Photo Shoot At Kartarpur Annoys Sikh Community By OMMCOM NEWS On Nov 29, 2021    Share New Delhi:  A clothing brand recently came under fire after an alleged photo shoot at the Kartarpur Gurdwara in Pakistan. In the shoot, a Lahore-based model can be seen bareheaded, posing for the camera, compromising the sanctity of the place, Express Tribune reported. Pakistan Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry and members of the Sikh community expressed annoyance over the fashion photoshoot at the Kartarpur shrine, Pakistan Observer reported. Chaudhry slammed the designer and the model for the photoshoot. “The Designer and the model must apologise to Sikh Community #KartarPurSahib is a religious symbol and not a Film set,” he wrote on Twitter. Manjinder Singh Sirsa, the President of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management committee, also condemned the act, calling it “desecration”. “Pakistan court issued arrest warrant of star who did dance video at Mosque; same must be done against this woman from Lahore as an example of treating all religion at par.” “Otherwise, any talk of respect for Sikhism is hollow,” he said. In another tweet, Sirsa commented: “Such behaviour and act at the pious place of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji is totally unacceptable! Can she dare to do the same at her religious place in Pakistan? Imran Khan and the government of Pakistan should take immediate action to stop this trend of treating Sri Kartarpur Sahib as a picnic spot by Pakistani people.” Meanwhile, the clothing brand, Mannat, has issued a clarification on the matter. The Instagram page has since removed the controversial posts and released a statement, the report said. “The pictures posted on our accounts are NOT part of any shoot done by Mannat Clothing. These pictures were provided to us by a third-party (blogger) in which they were wearing our dress. Please note that Mannat has absolutely NO role in deciding how and where the pictures were taken,” the statement read. “However, we accept our mistake that we should not have posted this content and we apologise to every single person who was offended by this. All the holy places are very sacred to us.” “The pictures and posts have been removed from all our media channels. Again, we apologise wholeheartedly for hurting the public sentiment. Believe us when we say we had no such intention.” On the other hand, Pakistan Punjab Police in a statement said that they are investigating all aspects related to this incident and strict legal action will be taken against those responsible. “Management of the concerned brand & model are being investigated. Worship places of all religions are equally respectable,” reads the statement, as per the report.
