Yesterday, on the National on CBC, Terry Milewski presented a careful threaded web of lies, inconsistencies, and prejudiced statements to effectively shut down the annual Vaisakhi celebrations, prevent Sikhs in Canada from having a political voice, stereotype the Sikh community as a violent and hate-filled group, and put the blame for terrorist acts on innocent Sikhs.

What we need is credible/competent sikh body(mixture of sikh scholars and activist) who can debate journalism by cbc with journalism on a larger scale.

- Killing of innocent people should not be ONLY condemned just by words but should be fully condemned by giving out examples of sikh puratan jang history one of many examples is of baba deep singh ji saving hundred thousands of hindu women from rapist mughal army)

- Support of contoversial figures like talvinder singh parmar, malik, bagri, reyat should be avoided at all costs, lets just put your jatha behind for one second please, and represent khalsa panth. If you honestly weigh talvinder singh parmar with shaheedi(martyrdom) concept laid down by our 5th sri guru arjan dev ji. He is far from being an "shaheed".

According to the Soft Target book:

1. How do you explain state bank of india giving malik 2 million dollar at the same time accuse him and his freinds being khalistani fanatics?

2.How do you explain talvinder singh parmar demanding for 500 dollars out of nowhere by inviting all the innocent people for their "chardi-kalah simran session" at 5 am?????

3. How do you explain real shaheed bhai fauja singh ji;s wife accusing parmar for hijacking the movement?

4. how do you explain parmar wealth in short little time to buy houses in cash in one of richest area in BC? where is that money come from?

5. how do you explain parmar one hand- fully denying his involvement killing police officers to the authorities and in the gurdwara bragging how he killed police officers in the india? i m sure your chardi-kalah, farladhari maha shaheed gurmukh find lying obviously ok ?

i suggest you look into these points with open mind instead of same putting your jatha and jatha leaders first infront of sikhi/khalsa ethical/ moral views and dharam yudh maryada.

To equate/ give him label of shaheedi is maha beadhi its in fact it bring the downs defination of shaheedi which sri guru arjan dev ji showed us pratically..these days shaheedi word itself gets over used and abused just like any other labels like- sant, bhramgyan's, scholars.

I dont know why people who are soo naive when they start supporting these contoversial figures. Either they are naive/brainwashed or seriously fanatics.

Anyway moving forward,

- CBC thinks rooting out prime minister of india-indira gandhi was a crime, so as rooting out army leader was crime, remind them Sikhs are NOT PACIFICIST, our gurus told us at which point to raise swords and fight for freedom rather than being slave to this rules of soceity(pacificism). Give examples from sikh history that when ahmad shah attacked darbar, killed innocent people, burn sri guru granth sahib ji birs there was no other choice to root him out.

- Educate these ignorant fools-journalist from CBC about anmensty international reports on major human rights abuses in India..not just sikhs but hindus, muslims as well buddhist,christians.

- Show them they(CBC) are holding double standards on one hand totally lashing out at china for human rights abuses against its people, tibetans yet totally showing blind eye on human rights abuses in India.

- Educate these ignorant journalist that concept of khalistan its about sovergienty not about violence or peace of land laid down orginally by respected matyr- sant(saint/soldier) jarnail singh ji bhindranwale.

Don't forget in course of sharing journalism against bias journalism by CBC, is to acknowledge yes after the 1984 attack on darbar sahib, there was a element of sikh extermisim/GOI agents who were sucessful hijacking the khalistan movement.

If you want to quote from the book- soft target, atleast read it fully. Our sikh soo called leaders and soormaie jump on the bandwagon quoting from this book-soft target right, left and center yet hold double standards supporting certain self-proclaimed khalistani figures which this book clearly bought fwd how shady some area in lifes really were. !

read this book draw your own conculstions from it, check the index - and look for talvinder singh parmar- read the pages talk about him, atleast do something productive which is read this book throughly instead of parroting other speeches on how high and mighty this book really is and yet hold double standards regarding certain self-proclaimed khalistani figures which the same book criticize.

seriously man, if you just want sing praises all the day how high mighty these people with shady characters really are, and sing thats sick yo, how bagri, parmar, mailk is da man blah blah, go join taliban.

I don't think he meant innocents,he meant the ones that oppress Sikhs(there are more the 50,000 of them anyway),like Sant Bhindranwale also says in one of his speeches,return the jeep or we will kill so and so amount of Hindus,he did not mean innocent Hinuds but the oppresors,this is what people have to understand when a GurSikh says things like this he means he will only go after the oppresors,Sikhs never go after the innocent,another example is on another speech,where Sant Bhindranwale gives a warning to the Police that if two youths in their custody are killed,he will make sure that the Police force responsible for the murders will be wiped out.

Keep in mind,in a Gursikhs mind he will only praise the killing of an oppressor and not an innocent and neither will he call for the slaughter of the innocents.
