Sikh Girls In Pakistani Brothels

Recommended Posts

An article was published in a Punjabi newspaper Rozana Spokesman. I think it is published from Chandigarh. The subject of the article was about the Sikh girls from U.K being targeted by Muslim men and taken to Pakistan were they end up in brothels in that country. This situation has been discussed here a few times. A few of the people from Canada said that it could not happen in Canada.

Now a discussion of that article is taking place on another web site. Someone from Canada has posted that it has started to happen in Canada also. His post is copied here . Canadian brothers and sisters, please take note of the beginning of this trend and do something before it becomes as bad as it has in U.K. Approach the gurdwaras and Sikh community leaders make them aware of this. Also approach the “Sikh Student Associations”, and the so called “Indian Student Associations” and the about this.

We need to remove this "Bhangra" culture which are breeding grounds for Muslim men to target Sikh girls. How many of them do yo see bringing their Muslim sisters to these parties -NONE!! However, it is fairly common for Sikh parents to encourage their children (sons and daughters) to go to these parties. It is shameful that 99% of these parties are organized by the so called Indian and Sikh student associations (surpsingly, mayb not, many of their members are Muslim men). I have seen this fairly common here in Toronto area where many Afghan and Muslim men are actively targeting Sikh girls.

I have tried to raise this issue with these student associations here but have been laughed at and told to grab a wisky!!

To all the Punjabi radio stations and tv producers: This issue needs to be raised here in Canada before it is to late like that in the UK

I don't blame you guys but this is usually the response you get from people who are unable to do anything even if they wanted to and cover up their weakness with statements like these. It's a semi fac

I tried it just now, it is working when you click on it. However, if you copy it into your browser, it does not work. Reason for that is that somehow some dots (characters ....) have appeared after /news ( /news... ) in the address of the link it should be www.***anti-sikh website not allowed***/images/newspaperonline/22-7-2007/pages/FRS8.htm

try clicking on the below again

Why not post the contents of the link? The other Panjabi one I read was a description/translation of that account written by a girl that claimed to have ended up in some brothel in Pakistan after following her boyfriend and then escaped.

Dalsingh101,

You are right. The link has died.

May be The Rozana Spokesman does not have enough band width to keep the news / stories for too long. The story mentioned in the spokesman is an old one I have read the English version of that story here ( on Sikh Sangat) about a year ago. The story in itself does not give much new information that is not known in U.K.

There were a few people from Canada who said that it can not happen in Canada. So my purpose in quoting the response of someone from Canada was to make the Canadian members aware that it may have started to happen there also.

I am going to try to upload that article as an image. Hope I am successful in uploading it

Thanks for uploading that. I read half of it. I think the Canadian crew are having major issues already with drugs and gangs.

Main eh vee sunnayaa vee othay (B.C) saday munday upneeaan kurian noo betch de nay. I read this in a posting on Tapoban.

But yes, the canadian sangat should keep their eyes open.

Another issue is where the kuri quoted says that Scotland Yard knew of a good few cases of this taking place and a number of kurian being stuck in P'stan. If this is true then why very recently have they denied that any grooming or forced conversions take place.

Knowing angreezis, it is their second nature too lie and maybe they were covering it up to keep it peaceful on the streets here. But meeting so many <banned word filter activated> upneean in England I don't doubt it would be easy for some scheming bundha to do this to them quite easily.

    • WHY?  Do you think I haven't figured out that our fudhoos like prancing about at any given opportunity by now?  I don't get the vid? Was he trying to ask her out for a date in the maximally fudhoo way possible?   Who were the other panchoday he roped in for his synchronised 'bruin' bundhoo dance?

    • We need to squarely face that given our current numbers, we'll have to deal with 'economies of scale' so we'll be unlikely to be able to sell at prices comparable to similar mass produced mainstream items that have a large consumer base. I think the above sells at around £20 for instance. I'd say we have enough exemplar career types right now, we need to connect kids to their heritage more than this in whichever way we can.  You point about relatability depends on where the kids are growing up and the character of Sikhs around them.  I don't know about the current generation, but in the recent past there were strong, brave Sikhs who confronted things like race attacks etc., so it shouldn't be too much of a stretch. Plus I noticed that a lot of Sikhs seem overtly 'nerdy' in the US - outright braces, cheesy gormless grins and bifocals - parents should take take to sharpen them out of this at a young age if they can. Was talking to someone who was thinking of trying produce some kids books, and the point about having puerile, non-based sakhis came out, the conclusion was that such works need to incorporate a slight gritty dark edge to avoid the kids turning into unrealistic lulloos when older.  Been thinking about that graphic novel I posted about previously, it's such a shame that the diaspora panth (who would be the main consumers) couldn't forkout the £9000 being asked for. That's like £3000 each from the UK, US and Canada - where we all know we have plenty of loaded apnay. If anyone reading is one of these loaded apnay - please support and fund these things and maybe have one less flash motor or slightly less designer clothes.
