Nanakshahi Calender do you agree/disagree

Damdami Taksal has celebrated shaheedi purab (Chabeel) on 4th jun.

they dont agree with nanakshahi calender.They said they will go by old calender.

they are right also, because guru gobind singh ji also used to celebrate

purabs with old calender,if necessary he would have made new calender for sikhs,

our satguru,s wrote guru granth sahib, barah maha, they made khalsa panth,

making new calender was not a hard thing for them if they felt necessary.

can i have your opinion please.

baba thakur singh ji is brahmgyani and i will go with Taksal in this matter.

i have given u my view for my act.i disagree with nanakshahi calender.

can u explain your view , so that i may know why i m wrong.

i accept it because it is accepted by Akal Takht...no other reason.....

even tough Singh Sahib Bahi Thakur Singh je is a BhramGiani...he is not higher than Akal Takht.... :T:

because veerji in the old calender sometimes there would be two birthdays of gur gobind in a single year.. and in some years none.. so by fixing the dates for their bdays its celebrated every year.. they did a lot of research and found the exact dates..

even tough Singh Sahib Bahi Thakur Singh je is a BhramGiani...he is not higher than Akal Takht.... 

i agree wit u veerji.akal takht is supreme in sikhism. so v hav 2 follow takht hukams also. all sikhs hav 2 accept nanakshahi calendar.

in akal takht i don't think there is any brahmgiani.

also takht of patna sahib & hazoor sahib do not accept

I think the only reason why Baba Thakur Singh ji isn't accepting this calender because of Baba Jernail Singh Ji's shaheedi.
