'journey Of The Soul' & 'the Mind'

Recommended Posts

vaheguroo jee ka khalsa vaheguroo jee kee fateh!

i'm helping two bhanjis prepare for lectures they're doing on these topics, and i was wondering if anyone has any articles or katha tracks or even specific points that could be used in either of these.

the journey of the soul one will mainly be about how the soul goes through charaasi lakh joon, takes human birth, and how attached it gets to the world, etc, and also about what the soul is in relation to god (eg. anaykul trang hai - waves emanating from one source)

the one on the mind should focus around why the mind wanders, and the effect of panj doot, as well as how to conquer the mind.

both of these are pretty deep topics and any input would be greatly appreciated. (i.e. PLEASE REPLY thumbs_up.gif )

thanks

there was a story about a guy who was a wise man and had a chela in one life, but in the next life the wise man was a poor beggar and the chela was a rich guy, and something happened along the lines of the poor beggar teaching the rich guy (his chela in a previous life) a lesson.. has anyone heard this story?

i tend to hear stories and remember the characters but forget the main storyline rolleyes.gif
