The following is a diwali/bandi-shor-diwas documentary semi-related drama-esque programme aired on BBC2 last night:

Synopsis:

To mark Diwali, a story symbolising the hurdles faced by families caught up in the clash of cultures, religions, generations and genders in the 21st century. A Sikh's Journey Home follows a year in the life of the Mankoo Family, who originate from Kenya but have lived in London for the past 30 years. It's the family's mutual dream to venture on the life changing journey to India. Dari wants to show his daughters India, the country of his roots.

I've not watched it, but thought i'd put it out there.

i watched it. it started of great but have nothing to do with bandi chor. more to do with family moving abroad. was sum wise quites in there thgh which i personally was inspired by

Are there any other films that can be watched within the UK? I need more Inspiring Television than UK, what do brit's call it? 'rubbish'...

I dloaded the file ....but it fails to play cuz it required a DRM license which is unable to download frm the BBC site as Im nt from UK.

So i guess the only way is if someone can download and reupload the decoded format...and ...we should be able to download it and vuit without ny hickups.

Someone pl do this seva....really want to see this docu.
