I remember seeing these wonderful fishes when I visited darbar sahib in 1983, as little child. I can recall only 2 things from the visit. One is the fishes in the water and the other is sitting on the marble floors looking upto the then towering akal takht and the majestic shinney golden darbar sahib from a distance in the sunlight.

I know people won't agree with me, but gurbani is meant for humans, not animals

I agree but I'm sure there are some animals that can 'see the light', or have been placed into that animal for a reason. But in a way you're right, the human birth is the only one that can actually read, write, speak and understand Gurbani to its fullest (regardless if there are jackasses that don't).
