252 views but only 39 votes asking the USA to help get Justice for all the innocent mothers/fathers/brothers and sisters who raped, butchered & burnt alive. Some of the perpetrators of which are still free and in Government offices today.

To the sangat who havent voted, this is absolutely nothing to do with Sikh Politics or Khalistan but instead for Justice and closure to the tens of thousands of families who lost loved ones just because they were Sikhs.

We are now up to 100 votes and at fourth place! To say the idea was only submitted yesterday, we have done really well. We still need another 30+ votes to get us into 3rd place though but we nearly through into second round.

Vote now if you haven't done so already:

come on people vote! do all you can it only takes 10 minutes! we moan about the bad things that happen, then we throw away any chance of doing anything about it, just so we can carry on moaning like sheep. so go vote now! the deadlines soon. email, text, whatever, just do it and get as many people as you know who care about this to vote.

right guys, facebook just blocked my account as they think i'm spamming. i set up another one and thats been stopped aswell. can some of you guys message the creators of the sikh/khalistani/84 groups and ask them to message the members of their group? and if the creator of a group puts a post on the wall, it cant be blocked. conisdering how many of us supposedly support the victims, we are still way behind 1st and 2nd place, come on make a difference.

WJKK, WJKF

Sangat Ji,

It is our duty to remember the genocide of OUR people -irrespective of our political views.

Young children (the same age as your children/ nephews/ nieces that no doubt YOU have played with these holidays) burnt alive ! Where they terrorists ?

Young Sikh boys/ men (same age as us/ like our brothers/ cousins/ nephews/ fathers/ uncles) tortured !

Young girls/ Women (like our daughters/ sisters/ mothers/ cousins/ nieces) raped !

Elderly (like our parents/ uncles/ aunts/ grand parents) killed !

WE HAVE A MORAL OBLIGATION TO RECOGNISE AND REMEMBER......

Please refrain from political opinions, more rather emphasize the brutality/ genocide/ in justice, etc.

Baul chauk mauf.

WJKK WJKF

    • Anyone linking the "kenyan" style turban to Ramgarhia caste is stupid lol. It came from the Jat-only Sikh Regiment in British India (folded, starched single dastar without a pinch). It's called "kenyan style" as Kenya is where it's most popular today and has a lot of Tarkhan living there but it's originally from Jatts in India. Dastar actually opposes caste as a concept anyway so it really doesn't matter.
    • you can use nrimb.com this matrimonial site is very helpful to find Sikhs and other matches for marriage in Canada.
    • Is there a need to insult someone's Dastar style? Feel some shame When you see a Sikh wearing a Dastar you should smile and think "that's my brother" ,not laugh at how he chose to tie his Pagh. Maharaj made a brotherhood in the Khalsa not a fashion contest.
    • Respectfully, this isn't a good idea bro. This is a Sikh forum so it's best not to be distracted with other topics. Most people who visit this site don't have accounts and have questions about Sikhi so we do seva here by educating the Jaante as well. Maybe create a subreddit on Reddit for "casual Sikhs" over there. It would be better as you could link that with r/sikh. And also there are like 4 people still on this site so you won't get much response. It's really inactive here most people use reddit now
    • Sikhs can sleep nanga-sirr if they choose to . Being from Punjab, almost every Sardaarji i know (amritdhari or not) sleeps/showers with their hair uncovered. I don't think Guru Sahib asked us to wear Dastar to sleep and I don't think it is in SRM. The idea of "keski being worn to sleep" is cos in Bollywood films (Bachna Ae Haseeno) Sikh characters usually tie a gol parna when sleeping since the actor's usually Hindu. So they gotta cover his head somehow or he'd have cut hair. Same reason Diljit wore a pagg to bed in the El Sueno vid. Only time they didn't do that was in Gadar with Sunny Deol which just looked odd tbh
