Ya.. Like maybe the Indian, Pakistan, and American armies should actually stop these f'd up terrorists from destroying innocent peoples' lives, instead of sending their troops to the other countries just to get oil or w/e it is they want/need.

When did Sikhs ever do anything to harm a certain group of people?

Honestly, muslims are very scary.

It's getting scarier and scarier each day. The women in Pakistan are, now, not allowed to exit their homes. Many Sikh families' homes were destroyed, and I wouldn't be surprised to find out that they are targeting places of.. (I won't even say it.)

Disgusting, and scary. They're just so disgusting, making their 'many wives' and women cover themselves from head to toe while they go around seeking other women to marry (use as slaves for various purposes). Honestly.. It's just disgusting.

If we really truly meant the slogans for “Justice for 84”, then I see no reason why we can’t raise slogans to help our Sikh families in Pakistan. As the original poster stated, we should be doing something to help.

Those who are postions of influence, please come forward. Can we send funds to our Sikhs in Pakistan who are now refugees? Think about what will happen to our ithaasic Gurdwaras such as Nanakana Sahib, Punja Sahib, Dera Sahib, Shahid Gunj etc. If BBC videos of refugee camps in November 1984 really shocked us, then I again see no reason why the status of these refugees shouldn’t equally shock us.

These Sikhs only have three clear choices-;

1. Get out of Pakistan and claim political asylum in the UK or other western countries the same as Afghani Sikhs have done.

2. Move to Nankana Sahib and settle there and get resettlement help from the Pakistan Gurdwaras committee or SGPC or Delhi Gurdwaras committee. The Nankana Sahib estate that Sikhs left behind in pakistan in 1947 has over 18,000 acres of land attached to it. The income from these land should be crores of rupees but at the moment the Pakistanis have given these lands out on low nominal rents or they have been encroached upon by Muslims. Just as in India the mosque lands after 1947 were attached to the waqf board and they use the income to improve the lot of the Muslims in India so the lands of Nankana sahib should be used for the betterment of the Sikhs in Pakistan.

3. Move to Punjab in India.

There are really no other options but the problem is that many of the refugees at Gurdwara Panja Sahib seem to be telling the media that they want to go back after the Pakistani army have cleared the Taliban out of Swat. They seem to think that even after everything that the Taliban has done that the old days of harmony will return. If they still hold these hopes then there is really not much Sikhs outside Pakistan can do for them.
