Footprints of guru nanak dev jee..

Recommended Posts

punja sahib has the handprint of maharaj on a boulder, and gurdwara nanak tirath sahib, in hazur sahib has guru nanak dev ji's foot print on (thats now been preserved in a stone. basically a marble thing is now on top of guru nanak dev ji's foot, so its preserved forever) and from that point, people wash that marble stone and water comes out from guru jis foot.

Just remember that Guru Nanak Dev Ji was no normal person either... secondly, to think allllll the walking he did allllll over asia with no shoes! that may have had the ability to flatten his feet as well.

I was also thinking that as well, i know Guru Ji was no normal person too. But the thing is you can't also just what you see. If those feet were the feet of Guru Ji then, i would want to see them too.

Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

Well Kandola veerji ,let me correct you,its Nanak Jhira Sahib Gurdawra you are talking about not Nanak Tirath.

I have been to Nanak Jhira Sahib recently and even before .It is located near Hazoor Sahib. As for the foot prints there. The actual place from where the spring of water is continuously flowing since Guru Ji touched a part of earth there,is not visible and is behind a small enclosure. So the foot prints made of marble near the place where water gets collected first ,the one which is visible to sangat,is in my opinion only symbolic one and not actual. It jut signifies that Guruji has touched a part of earth near that place with His feet.and that is how he got drinking water coming from that place.

I am not sure about the gurdwara in Nepal, but it might be same case with this gurdwara.

Bhul chuk maaf
