I don't know which is wrong or right... And as far as I'm concerned I do not care... But I do know we will soon turn to Muslims blowing our self's up because one side things it's right over the other (shia and sunnie)

Unified, not divided. There were two dates before, but now the new Nanakshahi calender and Bikrami dates are aligned for major Gurpurabs and historical days.

The old, poorly thought out calander with random dates has been corrected for historical accuracy.

Death threats,... could be either bonehead punjabi's who consider themselves sikh or anti-sikh elements with an agenda to stir trouble.

Did the radio show not have a simple method of broadcast delay for a talk show? Pretty standard stuff. Makes me wonder if the radio show was complicit in broadcasting the death threats. Such stupidity on the stations part makes one wonder if they even planted callers for controversy. Regardless, the Sikh community should not have to be exposed to this kind of broadcast.

Report the station and talk show host in writing to local authorities and/or the governing body that regulates radio broadcasting.

I was very hurt to see; that there was a clash between two groups of sikh i9n Gurdwara RakabGanj Sahib while sangat was celeberating Prakash utsav of Guru Bobinid singh ji. Even Chardikala TV had to stop broadcasting the live prog. May akal purukh show us the way come out of this situation and help us unite again under Nishan Sahib , Khalsa should not be influneced by any political party however it should alwys be under influnce of BANI and Sant Samaj.

Aren't the modifications in line with the "Bikrami Calendar(Hindu calendar) " ?

Aren't the modifications done under influence of the badals and RSS ?

Aren't the modifications done to finish the "azaad hasti" of the Sikhs ?

I heard according to the old(non modified) Nanakshahi calendar many occasions used to be on the same day every year whereas now they will fall on different dates.

Some one in this forum is claiming that according to new(modified) calendar various occasions will fall on the same date every year wheras the opposite is true.

Some one who really knows about both calendars should answer this .
