Yes apart from this singh the singhs arrested by khanna police r also subjected to inhuman torture unfortunately none of the sikh groups with the execption of panch pradhani crticised it .BECAUSE OF GROUPISM DISPLAYED BY SOCALLED SIKH GROUPS IS ENCOUARGING PUNJAB POLICE.

The Punjab Police are under the control of Badal so why are Sikhs being totured and maligned by organisations under his control? Why are the Sikh groups silent, they normally jump to attack others on little issues.

General population of "so called" panthic ppl doesn't want to get into trouble thus they don't want to help such innocent poor sikhs (these organization are part of indian sarkar.. maybe not whole but at least little bit)... Akali Dal Amritsar always support such innocents but the problem is that they are not known to majority nor they present the voice of majority. Panch pardani ppl are new and born yesterday so they too don't represent the majority..

Need the voice of Majority and none of any panthic leader or organization in punjab have one and that is where we can say that indian sarkar successfully infiltrated majority of all "so called" panthic organization.

At the moment the Kaum is a collection of very small voices with minimal impact. The Sikh Channel aired a discussion programme last night regarding these tortures, which was informative. The panel included Professor Davinderpal Singhs wife. Unfortunately, the best we are able to do is a safe tv discussion programme which only shows how we still have no collective global impact despite being so affluent. In the last decade just in the UK we have built multi-million pound Gurdwaras (Havelock Rd and Gravesend together came to over £40 million) collectively spending approx £100 million of the sangat's money on building alterations.

We all know the root cause and the source of the problems but we currently lack the passion and commitment to our Kaum to do anything about it. Feel free to classify this as nindya, but high profile Jathedars/Mukhis/Sants are travelling around the globe, not as ambassadors of Sikhs but for their own self-promotion. They can claim direct lineages and authenticities to Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj but are they really representing the kaum or just themselves? Why have they not challenged the system in India which has blantantly been flushing out young Sikhs through drug addiction or police harrasment? Is it because their own "sewdars" are now hooked on those very drugs?

The least that can be done is a staement from all the Akali Dals, Nihangs, Various Sants and Babas other Sikh organisations that human rights need to be upheld in Punjab, this is not difficult.
