Any Doubts About Professor Darshan

Has this controversy always been present in our faith? I ask because I don't remember hearing any dissenting voices about Dasam Granth Sahib when I was a kid / youth, and I was around a lot of Sikhs and Sikhi venues back then.

Not really, now there are people who are boldly discreditting the Dasam Granth entirely without any research through anhkaar and lack of understanding.

Most of these fake missionaries base their work off of Bhai Sahib Singh who did work on Dasam Granth banis, the same banis most of the fake missionaries are discrediting.

That video really wraps up the entire issue well.

The old man is Inder ghagha a communist in his heydays. He is 9th standard education.He was a driver with Punjab state electricity board.He was jailed for stealing cables and dismissed. Then he did some missionary course and took this route for making a living. This was revealed by a gentleman whose in-laws live in Ghagha's village.This he wrote in a discussion on a prominent sikh site.

Thanks GPS! I wondered why that ghagha invdividual gave off such a bad vibe!!! Now I know.

Dasam Granth is part and parcel of sikhism for over 300 years. Just because a bought out man, who himself had been doing kirtan

from Dasam Granth, is making noise to misguide ignorant sikhs, it does not become a disputed scriture.

On Feb 5 Darshan singh Ragi has attacked bani of SGGS ji and sikh ardas also. Does that too become also a disputed scripture?

No not at all. We cann't bow to whims of such anti sikh persons who change tune out of greed.

This is a propaganda and we should counter it. With Waheguru's blessings this will fade out.

John Malcolm's work is one of the rarest firsthand information recorded by a western historian on the lifestyle, belief systems and traditions of the Sikhs in Punjab during the 18th century .

Guru-mata

When Gurmata or great national council, is called, (as it always is, or ought to be, when any imminent danger threatens the country, or any large expedition is to be undertaken) all the Sikh chiefs assemble at Amritsar. The assembly, which is called the Guru-mata, is convened by the Acalis; and when the chiefs meet upon this solemn occasion, it is concluded that all private animosities cease, and that every main sacrifices his personal feelings at the shrine of the general good; and, actuated by principles of pure patriotism, thinks of nothing but the interests of the religion, and commonwealth, to which he belongs. When the chiefs and principal leaders are seated, the Adi-Granth and Dasama Padshah ka Granth are placed before them. They all bend their heads before these scriptures, and exclaim, Wa! Guruji ka Khalsa! Wa! Guruji ki Fateh! A great quantity of cakes, made of wheat, butter, and sugar, are then placed before the volumes of their sacred writings, and covered with a cloth. These holy cakes, which are in commemoration of the injunction of Nanac, to eat and to give to others to eat, next receive the salutation of the assembly, who then rise, and the Acalis pray aloud, while the musicians play. The Acalis, then the prayers are finished, desire the council to be seated. They sit down, and the cakes being uncovered, are eaten of by all classes of Sikhs: those distinctions of original tribes, which are, on occasions, kept up, being on this occasion laid aside, in token of their general and complete union in one cause. The Acalis then exclaim: "Sirdars! (Chiefs) this is Guru-mata!" on which prayers are again said aloud. The chiefs, after this sit closer, and say to each other: "The sacred Granth is betwixt us, let us swear by our scripture to forget all internal disputes, and to be united." This moment of religious fervor and ardent patriotism, is taken to reconcile all animosities. They then proceed to consider the danger with whcih they are threatened, to settle the best plans for averting it, and to choose the generals who are to lead their armies against the common enemy. The first Guru-mata was assembled by Guru Govinid; and the latest was called in 1805, when the British army pursued Holkar into the Penjab. (pages. 120-123) ________________________

He held various distinguished posts, being Ambassador to Persia, Resident of Gwalior (1803-1804) and Governor of Bombay 1827-1830. Its all very well having historic pictures and text however, the Hukunama of Sri Akal Takht Sahib dated June 6th 2008 (no:a:3/08/3143) clears the confusion once and for all.

Unless we dont believe in the Hukanama of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and know better.

All of us here recently started a small project to do 2 million Mool Mantar Jaap for panth unity and chardikala. We already reached 48,600 jaaps in less than a week... This shows how crazy darshan lal group is to attack and discredit some positive program being handled by small group of sikhs who are not involved in any type of social politics.. Can anyone find a video or recording of Darshan Ragi doing Dasam Granth that we can show his followers?

Clear them, he caused too much gandh here in Fresno. He needs to be stopped. We all need to educate ourselves and prevent him going around and spreading more hate and misinformation. Everywhere he goes we need to severely educate the people in such a manner that the one or two innocent sangat (realistically) don't fall for darshan ram because on account of the sheep who consider darshan ram their 'guru'.

He goes to the Gurudwaras where the predominant people are Sunday Sikhs who don't have an interest of taking Amrit or giving their kids a Sikh saroop and go to parties and drink on the weekend.

I am now seeing the after effect on the Gurudwara he has gone to and he's bringing nastik, antigurmat thinking amongst the Sangat. I'm not in a good mood right now...

I don't think anybody here on sikhsangat supports Pro Darshan but there are many on youtube or facebook that do so the best way to stop these people is debating and defeating them head on.

It was in the news a few weeks back that Ragi Darshan's team was removing such videos from youtube by lodging false claims of copyrights.

They are famous for lodging such complaints and they have done the same thing in case of video where he is attacking SGGS sahib.

Ragi Darshan Questions Bhagat Bani

Strict Action Requested Against Pune and Fresno Gurdwara Committees

PUNE, MAHARASHTRA (KP) - In a desperate bid to seek attention Ragi Darshan Sinh, the heretical former Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, has now began to question the sacred 'Bhagat Bani' enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and also questioned certain passages of the daily Sikh ardaas.

Disturbingly, Ragi is orchestrating all these attacks against the Sikh Scriptures while under the protection of security guards, and commandos being provided to him by various agencies and anti-Sikh outfits.

Hindu 'Commandos' Protecting Heretic Ragi

Ragi Darshan Sinh, who was ex-communicated from the Khalsa Panth in 2010 for challenging Sri Akal Takht Sahib's authority, was recently invited to Pune, Maharashtra, and Fresno, California by like minded heretics. He has continued to spew venom filled rhetoric against, not only against Sri Dasam Bani, but also questioned the sacred verses of Bhagat Namdev Ji's Bani, and called the mention of Sri Amritsar Sahib in the daily Sikh Ardaas a monetary based conspiracy.

In the above video, Ragi Darshan is purposely mis-interpreting the following sacred verses of Bhagat Nam Dev Ji that are enshrined in Guru Granth Sahib: 'ਨਾਮੇ ਕੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੀਅ ਬਹੋਰੀ ਲੰਕ ਭਭੀਖਣ ਆਪਿਓ ਹੋ'. Ragi claims that these verses are in praise of the Hindu deity Ram Chandar, and were written when Bhagat Naam Dev Ji was his devotee. He also claims Guru Arjan Dev Ji purposely included these verses to present contrasting views about Nam Dev Ji's devotion to Ram Chandar and later to Akal Purakh Sahib.

It is pure blasphemy to suggest that any of the Bani enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is not Divine "ਧੁਰ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ" and praises mortal deities instead of Akal Purakh. Similar statements have been made by other anti-Panthic heretics who did not understand the unified message of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji's Bani and Sri Dasam Bani.

Ragi Darshan Regurgitating Beliefs of Past Heretics

In the past deviant organizations such as Panch Khalsa Divan (Bhasaurr), Pro-Kala Afghani Pseudo-Missionaries, Rozana Spokesman, and the controversial author Pashaura Singh have also presented similar views about the divinity of Bhagat Bani enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Interestingly (Giani) Lal Singh Sangrur, who was associated with the 'Panch Khalsa Divaan' (Bhasaurr) attacked Bhagat Bani in the exact same manner in his controversial book "ਭਗਤਿਮਤਿ ਤੇ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ" that was published in the eartly part of the 20th century.

Lal Singh Sangrur uses the exact verses as Ragi to reject Bhagat Bani.

What Ragi stated in the above Pune video is verbatim what Lal Singh Sangrur stated in his controvercial book. How coincidental is that?

Note the "ਇਕਾ ਬਾਣੀ ਇਕੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਇਕੋ ਸਬਦੁ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ॥" verse printed on top of Lal Singh's Book this is the same verse continually used by Ragi Darshan and his Kala-Afghani associates. They misuse it in their case against Bhagat Bani, and Sri Dasam Bani.

The respected Panthic scholar, grammarian, and historian Prof. Sahib Singh in his monumental work 'Sri Guru Granth Sahib Darpan', vehemently rebukes such Bhagat Bani critics. He has written extensively about the Divine unified message in the Bani of the Guru Sahibans, Bhagats, and Bhatts.

Prof. Sahib Singh Ji critically chides heretics who question the divinity of Bhagat Bani, and provides substantiates that Bhagat Nam Dev Ji and others Bhagats were devotees of only Akal Purakh Sahib, and not of Ram Chandar, Krishan or other deities.

Here is Prof. Sahib Singh Ji's interpretation of the same verses that Ragi is questioning in the Pune video:

ਘਰੁ ੪ ਸੋਰਠਿ ॥ ਪਾੜ ਪੜੋਸਣਿ ਪੂਛਿ ਲੇ ਨਾਮਾ ਕਾ ਪਹਿ ਛਾਨਿ ਛਵਾਈ ਹੋ ॥

ਤੋ ਪਹਿ ਦੁਗਣੀ ਮਜੂਰੀ ਦੈਹਉ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਬੇਢੀ ਦੇਹੁ ਬਤਾਈ ਹੋ ॥੧॥

ਰੀ ਬਾਈ ਬੇਢੀ ਦੇਨੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥ ਦੇਖੁ ਬੇਢੀ ਰਹਿਓ ਸਮਾਈ ॥

"ਭਗਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਸੱਜਣ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਅਖ਼ੀਰਲੀ ਤੁਕ ਦਾ ਹਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਗਤ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਮੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਚੰਦਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਉਪਾਸ਼ਕ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਤੁਕ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਸੱਜਣ ਨੇ ਪੜ੍ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਪਦੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ 'ਧ੍ਰੂ ਥਾਪਿਓ ਹੋ' ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਧ੍ਰੂ ਭਗਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਚੰਦਰ ਜੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਜੁਗ ਵਿਚ ਹੋ ਚੁਕਾ ਸੀ। ਜਿਸ 'ਬੇਢੀ' ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਪੜੋਸਣ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ 'ਰਹਾਉ' ਦੀਆਂ ਤੁਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ, ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ "ਬੇਢੀ ਰਹਿਓ ਸਮਾਈ"। ਸੋ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਸਰਬ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਦੇ ਉਪਾਸ਼ਕ ਸਨ। "

For the following verses of Bhagat Nam Dev Ji's Bani, Prof. Sahib Singh Ji clearly explains:

ਧਨਿ ਧੰਨਿ ਓ ਰਾਮ ਬੇਨੁ ਬਾਜੈ ॥ ਮਧੁਰ ਮਧੁਰ ਧੁਨਿ ਅਨਹਤ ਗਾਜੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਧਨਿ ਧਨਿ ਮੇਘਾ ਰੋਮਾਵਲੀ ॥ ਧਨਿ ਧਨਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਓਢੈ ਕਾਂਬਲੀ ॥੧॥

"ਕਿਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਸੱਜਣ ਇਸ ਭੁਲੇਖੇ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਪੈ ਜਾਏ ਕਿ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਜਾਂ ਬੀਠੁਲ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਪੁਜਾਰੀ ਸਨ, ਇਸ ਭਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭਗਤ ਜੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਰਾਮ' ਤੇ 'ਰਮਈਆ' ਭੀ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਕਿ ਸਾਡਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ, ਸੁਆਮੀ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਰਾਮ' ਕਹਿ ਲਵੋ, 'ਨਾਰਾਇਣ' ਕਹਿ ਲਵੋ) ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਆਇਆ ਤੇ ਗ਼ਰੀਬ ਗੁਆਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਸਰੀ ਵਜਾਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ।"

It is clear from other verses of Bhagat Ji, that he was a devotee of only Akal Purakh and not of any deity.

"ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ"

In the above video, Ragi is suggesting that the phrase "ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ" in the Sikh Ardaas was based on a conspiracy by Sri Darbar Sahib authorities for the collection of money and prestige. This offending suggestion by Ragi shows exactly how much respect this heretic has for the sacred Sri Dabar Sahib Amritsar, that dear to all Sikhs worldwide, and the great Sikh personalities from Gurdwara Reform Movement.

Provoking Hindus Against Sri Dasam Bani

Ragi attempts to instigate Hindu oppsition to Sri Dasam Bani

Being in the RSS heartland, and given protection by Hindu commandos in Pune, the Ragi tried to instigate the local Hindu emotions against Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Bani. Why? Because there are passages in 'KrishnaAvtaar' that state Krishna and Arjuna had consumed intoxicants. In the video, Ragi repeatedly pleads to the Hindus in the local sangat and patronizes them as his "Hindu Veer".

"It is obvious that heretic Ragi Darshan is intentionally trying to provoke the situation, even ignoring the facts that the consumption of intoxicants by Krishna and Arjuna is also mentioned in the Hindu Granth, Mahabharata itself, and not just Sri Dasam Granth Sahib."

In regards to drinking in the Mahabharta, the great Buddhist activist and philosopher, Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar writes:

It is clear that Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Bani is simply revealing the truth about these Hindu Avtaars - obviously this is something that can not be fathomed by this heretical Ragi.

Directly in-line with the Kala-Afghani ideology, Ragi is stating that Sri Hemkunt Sahib has no connection to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, yet in an older video scene from the movie Nimmo, he is repeatedly referring to Sri Hemkunt Sahib as the 'ਤਪ ਅਸਥਾਨ' of Dushat-Daman Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

In these movie scenes he is promoting Sri Hemkunt Sahib and seen continously flapping his arms 'Bollywood' style while partaking yatra through the snow clad Himalayan hillsides on his way to 'Sapt Shring' peak.

It needs to be noted that Ragi, who has publicly questioned not just the validity of Sri Dasam Granth, but also the sacred Banis of Amrit-Sanchar, the daily Nitnem, and claims that the word "Bhagauti" in the Sikh Ardaas is a salutation to the Hindu deity Durga, has now set targets on holiest of holy Sikh scriptures, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and the venerable Sikh Shrine of Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar.

Pune Sangat Requests Action Against Gurdwara Management

Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of Rag Darshan's vitriolic propaganda is that it is being instigated from Sikh funded institutions and Gurdwaras. Various directives from Sri Akal Takht Sahib clearly forbid Sikh institutions and Gurdwaras from providing a platform for this ex-communicated heretic.

In reaction to his February 2011 Pune visit, and the vile remarks made by Ragi from local Gurdwara stages, the local Sangat has requested Sri Akal Takht Sahib to take strict action against those who have hosted the Ragi, and allowed the Sikh sangat funded Gurdwara stages to be misused for anti-Panthic purposes. Ragi travelled in Pune with an entourage of government provided security guard 'commandos' who encircled his every move from airport to the local Gurdwara Sahib.

Police and Private Security Protect Ragi in Central California

After his Pune trip, the Ragi visited rural central California in the first week of March 2011. Against Sri Akal Takht Sahib directives, several publicly funded Sikh Gurdwaras were misused to host Ragi's vile mis-parchar.

Sadly, the management of these Gurdwaras barred everyone except Ragi's supporters from entering the Gurdwara premises during his visit. These heavy handed tactics were enforced with the help of local police authorities and utilizing private security guards who ensured no one except pro-Ragi supporters entered the Gurdwara premises.

USA Sangat Requests Action Against Management

Sikh activists from the local Fresno Sangat have formally requested Sri Akal Takht Sahib to take strict action against the management of those Gurdwara committees who violated Sri Akal Takht Sahib's directives and allowed the heretic Ragi to misuse the Sangat funded platforms of these institutions for anti-Sikh mis-parchar. The local Sangat who raised concerns about Ragi's visits was not allowed into any of these Gurdwaras during Ragi's visit - this is a clear violation of the Sikh Rahit Maryada.

A petition signed by over 200 sangat members was forwarded to Sri Akal Takht Sahib. It requested action against the management of the following institutions:

I already saw the link a while back. Are these comandos paid for by Indian Government? Most of his followers follow SGGS but reject Dasam Granth but this video i wonder what they will think with there Pro Darshan bashing SGGS. Everyone that is uploading videos on youtube good job and please continue doing it even if the next day youtube removes it. I noticed on Wikipedia that Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale is actually posted in a better way compared to before when they labled Sant Ji on wikipedia as a "terroist" and made up information about him. The point i am making is if we continue to point the truth we can easily defeat people like Darshan and people can also learn the truth instead of learning false information from the start especially those that are learning sikhi. I saw some pictures of Darsahn from Vancouver on some website i am actually surprised that Gurdwara's continue to support him and even more shocked that some Amritdari's are sitting there and listen to him do kirtan.

It was in the news a few weeks back that Ragi Darshan's team was removing such videos from youtube by lodging false claims of copyrights.

They are famous for lodging such complaints and they have done the same thing in case of video where he is attacking SGGS sahib.

Strict Action Requested Against Pune and Fresno Gurdwara Committees

PUNE, MAHARASHTRA (KP) - In a desperate bid to seek attention Ragi Darshan Sinh, the heretical former Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, has now began to question the sacred 'Bhagat Bani' enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and also questioned certain passages of the daily Sikh ardaas.

Disturbingly, Ragi is orchestrating all these attacks against the Sikh Scriptures while under the protection of security guards, and commandos being provided to him by various agencies and anti-Sikh outfits.

Hindu 'Commandos' Protecting Heretic Ragi

Ragi Darshan Sinh, who was ex-communicated from the Khalsa Panth in 2010 for challenging Sri Akal Takht Sahib's authority, was recently invited to Pune, Maharashtra, and Fresno, California by like minded heretics. He has continued to spew venom filled rhetoric against, not only against Sri Dasam Bani, but also questioned the sacred verses of Bhagat Namdev Ji's Bani, and called the mention of Sri Amritsar Sahib in the daily Sikh Ardaas a monetary based conspiracy.

In the above video, Ragi Darshan is purposely mis-interpreting the following sacred verses of Bhagat Nam Dev Ji that are enshrined in Guru Granth Sahib: 'ਨਾਮੇ ਕੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੀਅ ਬਹੋਰੀ ਲੰਕ ਭਭੀਖਣ ਆਪਿਓ ਹੋ'. Ragi claims that these verses are in praise of the Hindu deity Ram Chandar, and were written when Bhagat Naam Dev Ji was his devotee. He also claims Guru Arjan Dev Ji purposely included these verses to present contrasting views about Nam Dev Ji's devotion to Ram Chandar and later to Akal Purakh Sahib.

It is pure blasphemy to suggest that any of the Bani enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is not Divine "ਧੁਰ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ" and praises mortal deities instead of Akal Purakh. Similar statements have been made by other anti-Panthic heretics who did not understand the unified message of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji's Bani and Sri Dasam Bani.

Ragi Darshan Regurgitating Beliefs of Past Heretics

In the past deviant organizations such as Panch Khalsa Divan (Bhasaurr), Pro-Kala Afghani Pseudo-Missionaries, Rozana Spokesman, and the controversial author Pashaura Singh have also presented similar views about the divinity of Bhagat Bani enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Interestingly (Giani) Lal Singh Sangrur, who was associated with the 'Panch Khalsa Divaan' (Bhasaurr) attacked Bhagat Bani in the exact same manner in his controversial book "ਭਗਤਿਮਤਿ ਤੇ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ" that was published in the eartly part of the 20th century.

Lal Singh Sangrur uses the exact verses as Ragi to reject Bhagat Bani.

What Ragi stated in the above Pune video is verbatim what Lal Singh Sangrur stated in his controvercial book. How coincidental is that?

Note the "ਇਕਾ ਬਾਣੀ ਇਕੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਇਕੋ ਸਬਦੁ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ॥" verse printed on top of Lal Singh's Book this is the same verse continually used by Ragi Darshan and his Kala-Afghani associates. They misuse it in their case against Bhagat Bani, and Sri Dasam Bani.

The respected Panthic scholar, grammarian, and historian Prof. Sahib Singh in his monumental work 'Sri Guru Granth Sahib Darpan', vehemently rebukes such Bhagat Bani critics. He has written extensively about the Divine unified message in the Bani of the Guru Sahibans, Bhagats, and Bhatts.

Prof. Sahib Singh Ji critically chides heretics who question the divinity of Bhagat Bani, and provides substantiates that Bhagat Nam Dev Ji and others Bhagats were devotees of only Akal Purakh Sahib, and not of Ram Chandar, Krishan or other deities.

Here is Prof. Sahib Singh Ji's interpretation of the same verses that Ragi is questioning in the Pune video:

ਘਰੁ ੪ ਸੋਰਠਿ ॥ ਪਾੜ ਪੜੋਸਣਿ ਪੂਛਿ ਲੇ ਨਾਮਾ ਕਾ ਪਹਿ ਛਾਨਿ ਛਵਾਈ ਹੋ ॥

"ਕਿਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਸੱਜਣ ਇਸ ਭੁਲੇਖੇ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਪੈ ਜਾਏ ਕਿ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਜਾਂ ਬੀਠੁਲ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਪੁਜਾਰੀ ਸਨ, ਇਸ ਭਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭਗਤ ਜੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਰਾਮ' ਤੇ 'ਰਮਈਆ' ਭੀ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਕਿ ਸਾਡਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ, ਸੁਆਮੀ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 'ਰਾਮ' ਕਹਿ ਲਵੋ, 'ਨਾਰਾਇਣ' ਕਹਿ ਲਵੋ) ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਆਇਆ ਤੇ ਗ਼ਰੀਬ ਗੁਆਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਸਰੀ ਵਜਾਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ।"

This offending suggestion by Ragi shows exactly how much respect this heretic has for the sacred Sri Dabar Sahib Amritsar, that dear to all Sikhs worldwide, and the great Sikh personalities from Gurdwara Reform Movement.

Because there are passages in 'KrishnaAvtaar' that state Krishna and Arjuna had consumed intoxicants. In the video, Ragi repeatedly pleads to the Hindus in the local sangat and patronizes them as his "Hindu Veer".

"It is obvious that heretic Ragi Darshan is intentionally trying to provoke the situation, even ignoring the facts that the consumption of intoxicants by Krishna and Arjuna is also mentioned in the Hindu Granth, Mahabharata itself, and not just Sri Dasam Granth Sahib."

He brought the Elysian Tree for his milk-maid, and revelled in Brindaaban.

Ragi's Hypocritical Statements on Sri Hemkunt Sahib

Directly in-line with the Kala-Afghani ideology, Ragi is stating that Sri Hemkunt Sahib has no connection to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, yet in an older video scene from the movie Nimmo, he is repeatedly referring to Sri Hemkunt Sahib as the 'ਤਪ ਅਸਥਾਨ' of Dushat-Daman Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

In these movie scenes he is promoting Sri Hemkunt Sahib and seen continously flapping his arms 'Bollywood' style while partaking yatra through the snow clad Himalayan hillsides on his way to 'Sapt Shring' peak.

In the above video, Ragi directly insults Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Bani by suggesting that five-hundered 'blue movies' could be made from the same sacred Sikh Scriptures that were scribed by Baba Deep Singh Ji, and Bhai Mani Singh Ji, and recited by the Khalsa Panth.

It needs to be noted that Ragi, who has publicly questioned not just the validity of Sri Dasam Granth, but also the sacred Banis of Amrit-Sanchar, the daily Nitnem, and claims that the word "Bhagauti" in the Sikh Ardaas is a salutation to the Hindu deity Durga, has now set targets on holiest of holy Sikh scriptures, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and the venerable Sikh Shrine of Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar.

Pune Sangat Requests Action Against Gurdwara Management

Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of Rag Darshan's vitriolic propaganda is that it is being instigated from Sikh funded institutions and Gurdwaras. Various directives from Sri Akal Takht Sahib clearly forbid Sikh institutions and Gurdwaras from providing a platform for this ex-communicated heretic.

In reaction to his February 2011 Pune visit, and the vile remarks made by Ragi from local Gurdwara stages, the local Sangat has requested Sri Akal Takht Sahib to take strict action against those who have hosted the Ragi, and allowed the Sikh sangat funded Gurdwara stages to be misused for anti-Panthic purposes. Ragi travelled in Pune with an entourage of government provided security guard 'commandos' who encircled his every move from airport to the local Gurdwara Sahib.

Police and Private Security Protect Ragi in Central California

After his Pune trip, the Ragi visited rural central California in the first week of March 2011. Against Sri Akal Takht Sahib directives, several publicly funded Sikh Gurdwaras were misused to host Ragi's vile mis-parchar.

Sadly, the management of these Gurdwaras barred everyone except Ragi's supporters from entering the Gurdwara premises during his visit. These heavy handed tactics were enforced with the help of local police authorities and utilizing private security guards who ensured no one except pro-Ragi supporters entered the Gurdwara premises.

USA Sangat Requests Action Against Management

Sikh activists from the local Fresno Sangat have formally requested Sri Akal Takht Sahib to take strict action against the management of those Gurdwara committees who violated Sri Akal Takht Sahib's directives and allowed the heretic Ragi to misuse the Sangat funded platforms of these institutions for anti-Sikh mis-parchar. The local Sangat who raised concerns about Ragi's visits was not allowed into any of these Gurdwaras during Ragi's visit - this is a clear violation of the Sikh Rahit Maryada.

A petition signed by over 200 sangat members was forwarded to Sri Akal Takht Sahib. It requested action against the management of the following institutions:
