Well my Chachaji is left wing...back then communist party even. So during the insurgency naturally a bounty was placed on his head as lots of communist party members were targeted. My dad told me it was Shaheed Amrik Singh that put in a good word right to the top of the leadership saying he was a good man, etc. This act preserved his life I believe.
