Step 1. Take a deep breath.

Step 2. The most important part, Don't forget to exhale.

The Amrut single-malt export whisky, "made from barley grown in the Himalayan foothills and distilled and matured in the tropical climate of Bangalore," was unveiled on Tuesday at Glasgow.
Understand what Barley is
Barley is primarily used for animal feed. It is fed to beef cattle, dairy cattle, swine and poultry. In most cases, the whole barley kernel is rolled, ground, or flaked, prior to being fed.

Barley's second most important use is for malt. Malt is used in beer, liquor, malted milk and flavorings in a variety of foods.

Understand what Barley is II

Now the second thing about the Word Amrut.

ited belongs to the Jagdale Group, itself one of the oldest industrial groups of India based in the South Indian town of Bangalore (more popularly known as the silicon valley of India). Founded by the late Mr. Radhakrishna Jagdale in 1948, the group initially started as a small liquor blending and bottling unit.

The pioneering spirit and enterprise of Mr. Jagdale saw the group quickly diversify into Food Processing, Bulk Drugs, Pharmaceuticals, Nutrition Supplements for sportsmen and animals, manufacture of high-precision engineering instruments, IT Enabled services, etc. Turnover and Asset base leapfrogged till now when it is established firmly as a leading industrial house of the State.

According to Indian Mythology, when Gods and the Rakshas - the demons - churned the oceans using mountain Menu as churner a golden pot sprang out containing the Elixir of Life. That was called the "Amrut" The great founders of our Distillery optly named it Amrit Distilleries. Amrut Single Malt Whisky is a product of 20 years research to produce Whiskies matching world standards. This Whisky is made from select Indian Barley grown up the feet of Himalayan matured by the water flowing there and cultivated by old & traditional agricultural practices. It is carefully mashed and distilled in small batches to preserve the natural aroma matured in oak barrels in an unique tropical condition, at an altitude of 3000 feet above sea level at Bangalore, the garden city of India. The whisky matures here by losing almost half its volume as "The Angel's share". This whisky - enjoyed as aperitf and as digestive has mild cloudiness upon dilution, which is matured for all classic malts. Amrut presents this product as a humble tribute to the Indian Farmer, who has grown

this grain with care and affection with which he has tilled the soil. We hope as a connoisseur of all good things you will appreciate this fine product at your leisure. Distilleries Limited

These people have been in business since 1948, i don't think your petition is gona make them change their name which they've held since before your birth simply because it coinsides with the word Amrit in sikism. The Word Amrut/Amrit has been here long before Sikhism.

Cliff Notes: THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH SIKHI.

kthanxbye.
