The brahman ideology media and film industry which has many times portrayed Sikhs negatively is infact a business that isnt doing very well as all their films are not hits and things such as the internet and piracy are foiling their revenues and thus hurting the govt and the industry

I feel sorry for any genuinely talented, serious Indian film-maker trying to create something different, who wants to send a message with a sensible, gandh-free movie, but can't get anywhere because the masses have been conditioned to crave love triangles and melodrama.

one decent film that was made, regarding a change needed in india, was a film called "rang de basanti", wicked!

I liked slum dog as it wanst typical nor made by bollywood,

Khani was good too again no ganth no dum songs and dancing, challanged the mind.

Im surprised RSS and shiv sena types dont protest against bollywood films or attack cinemas or actors. As in bollywood theres alot of muslim men hogging hindu women.

Most bollywood and indian media is pro-RSS and Shiv Sena.

Rocket Singh was a good film. It was the only Bollywood film where they portrayed a Sikh as a normal person. Not the usual comedy sikh or the aggressive angry sikh.

this video seems to be taking the pi** out of punjabi's look at the scene at 1min 14 sec
