hey ya'll,

my uni's bookstore is gonna find and order new books on Sikhism.

I wanna give em suggestions but I dunno what books on Sikhism are suitable for Sikh and non Sikh students.

does your school have religious studies course that uses a textbook on Sikhism? or books that are used as part of a course?

do you know of any books that are fairly exceptional for Sikh/non Sikh to read and learn and understand something about Sikhism, what its all about?

If you have any suggestions plz post the title, author, and ISBN or link to it online.

THANX!!!

^_^

Vaheguru Jee Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Jee Kee Fateh !

Books that I heard or read that are good:

Sea of Orange by Cynthia Mahmood

Fighting for Faith and Nation by Cynthia Mahmood

The Gallant Defender by A.R. Darshi

Stories from Sikh History by Hemkunt Press

Politics of Genocide by Inderjit Singh Jaijee (Has anyone read this on the forum ??)

Struggle for Freedom (Speeches and Conversations Sant Jarnail Singh) by Ranbir Singh Sandhu

also dont get mcleod books as i have read they have bad views , i'm trying to find the reviews online if i find i will post. khushwant was an indian mp and his views would be inclined that way .... i've heard in on interviews in 84 stating that no-one wanted Khalistan and it was a 'lunatic-fringe' etc...

Vaheguru Jee Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Jee Kee Fateh !
