Is this forum a safehaven for Sikhs?

I came here to gain knowledge but seems I am being shut out...did I come to the wrong forum? Is this place like "base"* ?

Is there another sikh forum I can go to that might be more willing to answer my questions and maybe a little nicer?

If Sikhism really is a true religion and is right for everyone in the entire world, why be selfish with the knowledge? Why not share it?

We should be more like this guy:

He has complete faith in what he believes and isn't afraid to tackle the tough questions...

I am not exactly sure who has been rude to you in the past couple of days as everyone has been crazily posting in threads related to Brar. So unless we've skipped/missed those threads, please do let us know.

As for this forum, you should have been here in 2003 to see how much fun we used to have. Past couple of years it has............never mind, you do get what I am trying to say. Please do use the "Report" feature on the bottom left under every post to report any post you find rude. That way we can keep a track and take action. Not sure why this wasn't advised to you all this while, but nonetheless, please do use it if/when needed.

I think you may be talking about why your "meat" posts get backlash. Also why other topics are against the rules. Please understand this is not because of a "taboo" of any sort , but due to these topics having been discussed many Many times before. After what usually starts as healthy discussion, it usually ends in flaming, and personal insults. Just do a quick forum search, , you'll find that these topics have been discussed many many times before.

What I do whenever I see a post that is not nice or goes against the rules is click the 'report' button below your post count.

Mods/admins can then look at it to see whether it should be deleted.

@Curioustoknow, there will be people with different views, God has not created everybody the same, if everybody was perfect we would not be in this world. I personally have learned from this site than any other. Okay I do not agree with some of the replies i get, but I am gaining knowledge from others, there are some very helpful Sikhs on this site. You will always get views from a diversity of people, its the same with any other faith/religion. Dont take anything anybody says to heart, there will always be the odd one, but I used to get fed up as I did not understand anything to start with, but as I kept reading others posts, and becoming comfortable with the information I was receiving I find it easier now, and its a great reference tool. There are people on here that have helped me, that do not know me, but to make me understand what Sikhi is all about, which has took a bit to time for me to grasp, there is sooo much to learn, and its neverending.
