The reason for this is that the Nanakshahi Calender doesn't work the same way the Gregorian Calendar works.

Also the calender during the Guru's Sahib was not the same we use today.

Are you against the Nanakshahi calender? I know its new, but it's still been sort of in all the Gurdwaras now.

Bhaaji, this is the main argument that heretics have used in order to mislead the Sikhs worldwide about this issue. This is only true if you super impose the Bikrami calendar on the solar calender. If you are going to use both then you will be confused. Don't use both togather. Choose a holiday then pick either Bikrami or solar calender. No Gurpurab occurs twice or skips a year. Guru Gobind Singh Jee's Gurpurab is Poh Sudi Saptami which occurs every year once in Bikrami. It never skips or occurs twice. All Sikhs including our Guru Sahibaan have been using this calendar for the last 500 years.
