Exactly, gippy grewals new kharku film, zaalam, has jus been banned. Wats the bloody point in makin them, if they will b banned straight away by the bandharstanis? All these producers/writers should approach western distributors/directors to make/release our movies here, where we can make BIG noise n explain wats REALLY happened in that last 30+yrs to non brown/panjabi audience.

Fair enough there is the arguement that by banning them, the movies popularity rises due to curiosity. Also funny how diljits bull**** film,panjab 84 was NOT banned, but also included scenes of where the kharkoos were made to look like idiots n i believe alcohol drinkers too. You know that worst part is how so many Sikhs even promoted Punjab 1984. That' movie was completely against the Panthic struggle which it showed in a negative light. The Kharkoo Singhs were shown no different than the Punjab police if not worse. It did not even show the emotions of the Sikhs and what they felt in their hearts during the 1984 genocide. The lead hero, Diljit was shown as a person whose religious sensitivities were unaffected by the attack on Sri Harmandir Sahib, the only concern he had was for his father. Even the part where his father was shot, they showed that scene as if the bullet came from the direction of Sri Harmandir Sahib and could have been from the gun of a Sikh militant instead of the Indian army. This is the kind of crap they showed in that movie. No wonder that of all the movies made on Sikh militancy this is the only movie which was not banned. In fact the BJP even fully promoted this movie since it showed the Sikhs militants in such bad light. Sad thing is barely any Sikh connected the dots and saw the hidden anti Panthic message of this movie when in fact this movie should have been boycotted by the Sikhs.
